It will be interesting to see who did this. Sounds like gang-warfare. No mention of gun control in the article.
So this always makes me wonder about why the NRA is so vilified when we know the ACLU and others will demand a full civil rights investigation if the perps are in a politically protected class. The ACLU is basically the same as the NRA. They are there to protect and enforce certain clauses in the Bill of Rights. We also know that trial lawyers (Personal Injury) and defense lawyers are favored by the Left.
In the end, I see more hypocrisy.

A reminder that Constitutional Rights are God-given in creation not conferred by government. The right to defend yourself is a part of natural rights. You have a right to live therefore you have a right to protect your life how YOU decide. The government doesn't get to decide for you.
Natural rights protect God's desire for you to live out natural law. Natural law is how God designed human life to go which is aligned with human nature. It is your best life. It gives you meaning and purpose and joy. The ultimate end is to know and worship God. You also have to know who you are as an individual and live out who God made you individually.

Liberals equate the modern era of fossil fuel burning to increased levels of CO2 and methane in our atmosphere, so to them, that is the variable causing climate change.
We now seemingly have more random violence than ever before (at least it seems that way to me; I never thought about things like this years ago) and we have the same gun laws and prevalence of guns in society. So guns are not a variable that has changed.

Yes, but I suspect there are limits to the right to defend oneself which even you approve of. Here's two guesses -
1) Age to purchase firearm - Is it okay that no 10 year old can buy a firearm?
2) Nuclear weapon - Is it okay that no private citizen can purchase a nuclear weapon?

1) 10 years olds can't buy anything really because they don't have any money. Plus children are categorically different than adults.
2) Idk. I trust normal people more than I do politicians. Not sure how an individual would protect himself with a nuke too. Plus the cost. Don't think this is an issue practically.
I love it how y'all always start with the most absurd ideas then try to apply that same logic to more rational situations then say, "Well you agreed no nuclear weapons....".
Look, we have a president who sniffs children and cant complete a sentence. We have a vice president who cackles every time she gets nervous and I haven't heard one intelligent thing from her since blowing her way to office. I refuse to allow that group to even try to change how I own or handle my weapons because like everything else they've done since being in office they'll screw it up royally.
Make the age 16. They can drive, have jobs, and afford one gun yet nearly ever state prevents 16-year-olds from purchasing them. The point is while constitutional rights are God-given in creation and not conferred by government, the government is still allowed to prevent unfettered use of that God-given right.
The nuke one is easy. It's prevented because in order to use it against an intruder, a person is going to harm several innocent bystanders.

Anyone in possession of a gun that has been outfitted with a trigger gets life in prison, no parole. It's illegal right now according to the article but it needs to have teeth.
It's game over as far as I'm concerned. We have a cancer in our midst and we need draconian measures for the laws that we agree are necessary. This doesn't take guns from you; it addresses you need to used a gun in ways that a civilized society does not care to deal with.
Sorry, that's how I feel about it.
And if you ask why then I'll tell you why. Someone I know very well lost a family member in the Tulsa murder. It's the will to kill and we have to glean intent and this rig is intended to be used in other ways.

I don't so much care if they say they disagree with a ruling. I do care when they suggest that they may not respect and enforce a ruling like they're doing with the abortion ruling.
