Have to say one thing that Biden is definitely tough on Putin. Must have taken some real fortitude to stand up to him on the pipeline to Germany. I just wonder how much of that $1bil we are putting up?

That liberal circle jerk on CNN was nothing but unchecked lies gobbled up by literal idiots. The Jim Crow filibuster, democrats support police, the vaccine prevents you from getting Covid and republicans preventing people from voting just to name a few. Biden even told a restaurant owner he bailed them out so they could survive the shutdown. The reason they can’t find waiters? Waiters have moved to new higher paying jobs!

The audience fawned over it all.
 
Talking to a friend in South Texas who owns a retail outfit. He said they can't fill orders because their supplier is being hit with the problem of people not wanting to work. Here are the numbers.

$600 per week coming in depending on # of children. This is after tax. Then they take a cash paying job on the side if they want a little more. But typically, the government checks are more than they'd make if they work.

This man is very successful and smart. We discussed how the Democrats deny this reaction of human nature to the government hand-outs. His response:

Biden doesn't give a ****. He'll just lie about it just like he lied about defund the police.

But you know, Trump lies...

You have to wonder how long they can stay in business. Even high end restaurants depend more on volume more than price.

Maybe they can get unemcustomerment from the Dems. Well, maybe not, the owners are more likely to be Republicans.

That's stupid. The Taliban is going to take over that country no matter what we do. The people support them. The US-built state essentially is handing over the keys to the kingdom to them. We are wasting money at this point.
 
Some of The interest groups who make up the party want open borders to shape the demographics to add more Hispanics. Joe can’t say no to them. He can’t say no to another interest group which wants a floor under every person. The GOP has interest groups who need cheap labor and so they will not do anything to stem the flow that is meaningful

Liberal Immigration Policy

1) Lawyers for illegal immigrants to fight the system
2) Sanctuary cities
3) Abolish ICE
4) Benefits
5) Oppose the wall
6) Coach them to seek amnesty
7) Attack and attempt to defeat Democrat representatives such as Henry Cuellar in Laredo who has the balls to speak the truth about the situation
8) Amnesty without addressing porous border and incentives created by the above
9) Attack anyone who disagrees with vicious cries of racism
 
The eviction ban. It's time to let it lapse and let the free market regain control of the rental market. There is money there to apply for if the renters or landlords want to claim it. I disagree with that approach of giving money to cover the rent but their ignorance shouldn't stand in the way of ending the eviction ban, despite the screams of the extreme left.
 
I have no sympathy for Cuomo. However, there is something that is worth noting. Letitia James is a left-wing kook who doesn't like Cuomo and wants to be governor of New York. She has a very clear political motive in this - much like someone from the opposing party would.

I'm not saying he's innocent. I strongly doubt that be is. However, it would not at all surprise if the charges are significantly worse than the facts. In fact, I would be pretty surprised if they were not.

I've little doubt the accusations are worse than reality. They usually are for politicians. I also recognize James' ambitions and considered this is a left v left crime. Still, the volume of accusers is what convinces me. Unlike an Al Franken who was railroaded by 2(?) accusers there are more in the Cuomo accusation. Additionally, post-#metoo he needed to adapt, as all left wing politicians should have.

The fact that the entire NY delegation (including Schumer) turned against him shows that he's done. This week, next week or at the end of his term it's only a matter of time.
