It changed to getting Harris elected, but Joe was okay enough with that to wait for the election to end before doing the pardon. You beat me to it. He definitely was lying about it. The Liberal Machiavellian mind-set is that they are so sure of their cause that nothing matters except victory. They project onto their opponents all that they do. Their flaw is their obsessive compulsive disorder as it is suicidal in nature. The true Democrats are realizing this and see that Liberals only care about their personal obsessions and will openly lie and will push every social issue to the furthest extremes possible because they want to change everything. Latinex. Pronouns. Gender alteration for children. It's all to be normalized and their driving force is something called Mindless Egalitarianism. Whatever is good about Liberalism (being kind to all) is destroyed by taking what is an outlier (3rd standard deviation) and shoving the normal line from the middle all the way over to the left. Then they will rule from that point of view. It is this metaphorical explanation that leads me to conclude they are mentally ill.

The interesting thing is this: It was Joe's DOJ who went after Hunter. Not Trump. He said Hunter was targeted due to politics, but it was the DOJ who actually made it happen.

Excellent point, bystander. Doesn't seem there's any political motivation behind the DOJ approach to Hunter - the evidence indicated that he was guilty of a felony, so they decided it was worth prosecuting. And he was found guilty in court.

It's just nonsense. Hunter took full advantage of his position. The $50K per month salary from the Ukraine was a clear political pay-off but he got away with it as did his Dad. The other stuff is there, but guess what; he violated the law including firearms violations. If it were a Conservative they'd want to lynch him given their position on firearms. Liberals refuse to accept any of it. So, to me, they're pathological liars.

If they felt Trump had any chance of winning, get Hunter convicted under Biden's term so that he could pardon him before he left the office.

This would prevent it happening under a Trump administration.

That is interesting too. So they lie to the American people in saying Hunter was innocent, knowing all along that he was guilty of crimes.

We could also say Biden is helping Ukraine because they paid Hunter $50K per month.

They prosecuted him under the Biden DoJ for political reasons. A Trump DoJ would have exposed the sleazy dealings that involved Joe. But none of that was essential for the pardon. You don't need a conviction to be pardoned. See Richard Nixon.

I'm expecting the whole Biden clan (family and associates) to be pardoned in the coming days. I think slojoe's specific timeline coincides with when they started stealing from America.
