President Biden Accountability Thread

It is true that opening up the drilling in ANWAR and off the Coast of Florida, along with allowing the Trans Canadian Pipeline project to move ahead again, as it was under Trump. Those are all moves that would help drop Oil prices in the US. Also, filling back up the SPR (strategic petroleum reserves) would keep supply up and prices down and would defend the US, instead of make it vulnerable. Trump left the SPR 100% capacity and Biden has dropped it substantially and is about to do it some more. Catastrophic!

It's their cheese and their booze. It's enticing to want to emulate that.
Plus the women aren’t overweight. In the end, most of life boils down to sex, drugs, and rock and roll. The phrase is dated today and passé, but true nonetheless.

THIS is a truly WTF
\In a memo sent Thursday morning from CBP's office of field operations sought volunteers willing to deploy immediately to Poland for "Operation Ukraine Support."
This azzhole wants to divert our Border agents from protecting OUR border
to go to Poland to aid in Ukrainian refugees.
Damn Biden et all hates America

No doubt.

Liberals are obsessed with something that is not; or something they are not. They are embarrassed by regular Americans and consider Europeans to be the true progressive template. In short, they are wannabe's.

Now, I've said this before and I know you're over there, but in my view, Europe has so much to answer for. If White privilege is a thing then it was invented in Europe who exported it around the globe. What do they say (or once said): The sun never sets on the British Commonwealth. That's because they seized so much land around the world that somewhere, the sun was always shining on their possession.

And yet, why do Liberals love them so? It's the same question about illegal aliens. The basic demographic coming from Mexico is not even close to the ideal of the feminist (man or woman) they hold so dear.

There is no logic. It's only a feeling.

Re: First Black Woman Nominated to SCOTUS

Opinion: What kind of justice will Ketanji Brown Jackson be? - CNN

This article is classic Liberalism. Two interesting (read - sickening) points:

1) She say's it should unite the country. Absolute delusional BS.
2) Read the following;

"It's critical for the US Supreme Court to understand the impact of its rulings in the real world, and it can't do that until it reflects the country it governs. Jackson will move us closer to a more fair and just system for women, for Black Americans and for everyone on the side of equality before the law."

Please, Hornfans lawyers weigh in on this. It sounds as if the law as written is to be ignored if in the JUDGEMENT of the new Justice (assuming she is confirmed) thinks it doesn't square with "the real world."

The rulings must reflect the skin color of the citizens. 14% of the rulings should be for blacks, 50%-60% for whites, etc. The constitution clearly states that everything should be done in proportion to the color of the citizens in the country. Pretty simple, really. The founding fathers clearly had this goal in mind when deciding how the country should be governed.....

That's the thing. Are quota's the only compromise?

But I will say, our police must do better. But I will also say, no reparations.

Do better in what way? You might want to re-visit the statistics before making that reqest.

My statistics are my black friends who I believe are not liars when they say they are profiled. And these are college educated professionals with an otherwise rational, level-headed manner. I am in the camp that the police has too many hot-heads. My former brother-in-law was an open racist. This was back in 1988. He was floundering in his career and decided to join the Dallas Police Force. Guess what? #1 in his class. I've lost track of his career and I don't believe he's been involved in any problems but I know him.

These are my anecdotes. There are many statistics. I don't believe history has proven your statistics to be correct in the sense that my request is the wrong one.

Do those same educated professionals acknowledge that their own community should also do better? Many of the LEO org's that you are saying "should do better" have been led by minorities for the last 10-15 years. as a matter of fact, some of the most progressive states have the biggest disparities in incarceration rates. And it is likely that these bluest states are the very ones that have tried all kinds of crazy steps to "do better". Report Highlights ‘Staggering’ Racial Disparities in U.S. Incarceration Rates | Best States | US News (look at the per state rates)

at the end of the day, poverty is largely the driver behind criminal behavior but the ironic twists is that the short term fix of getting what you want illegally means you are likely to go to jail and get a record and then you are locking yourself into poverty, ...and your family...and likely even your children's family since you are destroying the nuclear family at the same time.

The "policing problem" is a little bit about bias of the officers, but a whole lot about the disparity in acceptable criminal activity in different cultures.

You look at all the stores being looted for instance....90% of that activity is from the black community.

If you" think"you will get profiled you are going to feel you have been profiled.
Does it happen? Of course it does.
Here is a shocker. White people get profiled too. Not as often but it happens

I don't ask them questions like that. I have no proof of that. I only listen. That's what they appreciate anyway. They're not unreasonable. They don't agree that they should be able to mouth off to the police. They don't support crime committed by anyone. They understand a criminal in the act is asking for an interaction with the police. But they also believe short of a shoot-out or a gun pointed at someone that they should be able to apprehend a shoplifter or whatever without the use of violent force. There's all sorts of anecdotal evidence but I've not witnessed any of them. So to argue with them about it is just me parroting what the media says about the blame being laid on black people for their problems with the police.

bystander, I have the anecdotes as you. I don't my friends about their interactions with police. However, in discussing the issue I have had several black friends say they had been pulled for "driving while black."

To them it was a fact but also not a huge deal. They said they weren't afraid because they are always respectful and law abiding.

Yes... it's a fact to them. They also said they had long talks with their kids about it. My Dad also talked to me about interactions with the police as have I with my own children. Of course, I'm not saying, "Be very polite because they like to shoot white people," but my kids have the coaching on how to handle it if the lights go on behind them.

Seems to me a discussion on how to behave if pulled over by the police should pretty much go without saying. More of a, "Duh, don't act like an idiot" sort of chat. This just seems to go along with not being an *******, in general. What am I missing here?

Yes, in general you're exactly correct. To my friends though, the interactions are more stressful and the stakes are higher. For my kids, it's the difference between a ticket and a warning. For my friends, they feel bullets are in the equation. I've never felt unsafe around a policeman.

They do.
