Gaetz is gonna go down swinging. In reality, if he did in fact pay for a 17yr old girl to travel across state lines for sexual purposes I doubt he gets anything more than probation. The bigger problem is where this girl was sourced from. If she is connected in any way to Gaetz' friend that was indicted for using his role as County Tax collector to identify and source them for sex trafficking then the penalty may be more harsh.

Since Gaetz is a darling of the QAnon crowd I got a chuckle from this meme.

Damn, I hope he goes down. Everything that's bad about Congress is exemplified by Gaetz - no policy agenda to speak of, constant self-promotion, and constant media hogging. He's bad for conservatism in particular but bad for politics and Congress in general.

I think he serves West Florida well and that is all that matters to the voters there. This incident appears to be akin to a botched kidnapping that has been leveraged up by the national media for the reasons you mentioned. In short, I wouldn’t get your hopes up.

I guess it depends on what West Floridians view as good service. He mainly serves himself. He basically just talks a bunch of crap on TV. If he was a Democrat, we'd all make fun of him.

"I can confirm that your client is working with my office as well as the FBI at the government's request in order to determine if a federal crime has been committed," Goldberg wrote to Neiman, according to Politico. "This has been discussed with, and approved by, the FBI as well as leadership in my office and components of main justice."

"The government thanks you for working cooperatively with the FBI," the email said.

I am one of those unaware of the global issue of sex trafficking; can you enlighten me? Have you personal knowledge or is it something I can find on the internet? And if so, where? I could actually use a little more sex traffic in my life.

And this great reset globally, who is resetting and why and who benefits? Can I buy stock in it or does it have its own cryptocurrency?

I'll wait for the investigation results for whatever, if anything, was going on with a minor. Enough information is public to know that he's nothing more than a self-serving bootlicker as a politician.

To me, it's interesting how the conspiracy theorist' mind works. They adore Gaetz because he's Trump's butt-boy and is willing to do and say crazy thing to piss off the "libruls". They claim to be most worried about child trafficking. How do you reconcile the fact that one of the people you adore might be guilty of the offense that is the most worrisome? He was framed! It comes back to the Rothchilds, the Soros', the Clinton's, the Obama's, and now the Biden's. Just pick a high profile Democrat and I'm sure they are claimed to be wrapped up in some global conspiracy.

As a matter of fact I have extremely personal knowledge about sex trafficking which I wish to not share on this forum. Houston is a capital of sex trafficking in the US. LA probably a close second. I live in the Houston area. I know your being sarcastic, but some of this will eventually come out publicly. I am sure the sorbid details of sex trafficking will not, that is a felony to even disclose. Around 600K to 800K kids per year disappear annually in the US. Most of that is sex trafficking.

ive been in prosecution and defense for a long time and have doubts about the reliability of your numbers.

I know the Houston girl hired by Ivanka Trump to head up the sex trafficking defense group Trump started up. He was the most prolific US President to mount a defense against sex trafficking or human trafficking. You must consider easily 50% to 75% or more of the trafficked kids are brought in from Haiti and Latin America. They are taken from either side of the border. So these stats below probably don't consider these immigrant children. These only consider US children. The US is the largest purveyor(user) of human trafficking in the world. But most of the kids are immigrants.

Yes, but it's all about degree. Yes, they all promote themselves, but some actually take the real job of legislating seriously. Some don't. Gaetz does not. He may not be as dumb as Sheila Jackson Lee, but he's about that relevant and useful to the job they both have.

I saw 300,000 per year in HOUSTON alone. The stats I can find, DO NOT include immigrant children coming into the US. That number is much larger.

Almost all of those “missing kids” turn up with their dad, their grandma, etc.

I don’t want to make light of human trafficking as it does exist, just not on the scale that patriots like you want to put forth.
