One other thing about this, I notice that there is a very strong urgency to claim that liberal women are much smarter than they actually are. I first recognized this with Hillary Clinton back in the '90s. It wasn't enough to just act like she was reasonably intelligent. You had to affirm her as being incredibly smart. I remember some saying she was literally the smartest woman in the world. I think it ultimately backfired

Ditto for Jill Biden. She's not a dumbass. She's reasonably intelligent, but the insistence that she be called "Doctor" is overstating it and shows profound insecurity. Even most MDs I've known aren't like that. They want to be called Doctor, but they don't get an attitude if they're not, especially when they're outside a professional setting.

Willie Brown is obviously one of the slimiest politicians of the last 50 years. However, there is something refreshing about him in a perverse way. Because he has no shame, he will tell the truth when other politicians would lie. The Harris affair is an example. I'm sure the campaign asked Brown to deny it, but instead of doing so, he pretty much said, "yeah, I banged Kamala. Banging chicks and giving them jobs is what I do." He's basically the Rick James of politicians.
