Pelini Bros. Bitchfest as reported in Omaha

Does he understand if they had won, the big 12 would have gotten 2 BCS paydays? If anything, the refs and conference would have wanted the upset.

They might have showed their butt to the reporters following them around after the game, but this isn't the same thing as making a public statement that Texas cheated its way to the win.

Not that big a deal IMO.

This is the thing. Do you suppose Pellini will apologize for the "Texas should be ashamed to accept the trophy" comments AFTER he sees the actual replay and understands the correct call was made?

Or, is he going to continue to stomp around and throw his chewing gum and demand to see Obama about this?

If Pellini (and by proxy, Osborne) has what you say is Nebraska class, then he will man up and do the former. Otherwise, **** him.

There has to be a mistake here....I mean, after all, Nebraska has THE CLASSIEST acts in the business, right?

**** them. That kickoff muff was a crock of ****, as was that re-spot on the fourth down stop. Pellini can **** off.

That said, Suh is a beast. I'm glad we're not playing him again.

If Pelini publicly said something that implied that the Texas victory was tainted by the officials, he will at least be fined by the league office. I cannot even imagine what the worst punishment could be. That would probably go to the NCAA.

Making public unfounded allegations is a serious mistake for anyone, but for a public figure to do something so egregious is akin to professional suicide.

Hook 'em, Horns!

Wow, what a meltdown. I can't imagine Mack doing that if the roles had been reversed.

Bo as Sonny and Osborne as Tom Hagen. Funny.

On the positive side, it doesn't seem like it would take much to get Bo and his bro all worked up, if you are so inclined to watch them go off. "Hey, Bo, I heard you whining about that 1 second!. Hahahahah" Then sit back and watch the show.

Remember, Pellini voted ou over Texas last year because he thought they played better against them. totally ignored 45-35.

I believe we were 3 votes from mnc game so he obviously has something in his gizzard for us.

I've blown off steam before when I've been pissed and disappointed and angry. How many of us haven't? The one statement that bothers me is the comment that Texas should be ashamed to accept the Big XII Championship trophy. Who is he to be shaming anybody? Of all the stuff that came out of his mouth, that, to me, is the thing for which he ought to publicly apologize. It's the adult thing to do IMHO.

What a couple of jackasses.

So when you respot a ball two yards further down the field and give Nebraska 3 points, that's fine? When you spot a kick returner down at the one (though he CLEARLY never had the ball), that's OK too? But when you put a second back on the clock when there WAS a second left, you scream "you should be ashamed," refuse handshakes, and proclaim BCS conspiracies?

**** all of them.

The only clear case of BCS conspiracy I've seen was when Mangino, Pelini, Leach, etc. voted OU number one and Texas number FIVE at the end of last season. That had nothing to do with sportsmanship or doing the right thing. That actually IS something you should be ashamed of, because you're just gaming the system and manipulating a result -- which is exactly what all these ******* crybaby "adults" are accusing UT of doing last night.

Again, **** him. If the clock would have run out and the officials would have blown the game by adding one second, it would be what that coaching staff deserves.

The Chronicle Link: The Link

I believe they called us/the officials 'slick' as well. What do you think the implications of that are? And Pelini yelling, "cheaters"? That leaves a lot to the imagination. He is a great role model.

When Pelini pulled Osborne into this "conspiracy", Osborne should have pulled him to the side and told him to lose the sweatshirt and the gum and act like a man. For Osborne to facilitate Pelini's outlandish tirades tells you where this once great program is heading. Dr. Tom better get a handle on it.

The more I think about this the angrier I get.

If the Pelini jackass brothers had limited their comments to the Texas coaching staff or the refs, then maybe I wouldn't be so mad. But when one of them points at the Texas players, our young student athletes who give so much, and say they should be ashamed to accept the Trophy, then that is what makes me mad. A public apology to our players is needed.

Just posted this on the whinefest at Texags.com...
Wow. Texas' power over the universe is complete!

Not only are we able to bribe a whole set of non-UT grad officials, the replay booth officials, Walt Anderson, the Big 12 coordinator of football officials, and finally, the Big 12 Commissioner himself... but we also bribed the opposing team's kicker.

The takeover has succeeded.

It was a conspiracy by the officials that caused Kirkendoll to drop what would have been a sure touchdown that probably would have iced the game for Texas.

Damn cheaters.

it goes back to my opinion on that whole line of snyder / stoops coaches. not a one of them knows how to be a leader or teach young men. in that time of a close loss they should be with their team, relaying the positives of the game and commending them for leaving everything on the field. but they instead choose to react like little children that don't get their way. ****, my 2 yr old has better self control than them. that program and fanbase deserve better, they'll dig their own graves soon enough.

who should pelini be mad at? well, besides the ones mentioned above, he should be furious with whoever ran the game clock. that individual let the clock run and let pelini think the game was won only to have it snatched back by an obviously correct call.

had the clock stopped at one second per the policy, pelini's reaction would have been disappointment, but he would never have gotten into childish behavior.

another thing about that. is it any surprise that the clock manager let the game run out. i assume a bag xii official was running the clock. between that pretty obvious intent to do us harm and the all-conference team just announced, what more convincing argument that we need to be somewhere else? hmmm?

one more another thing.

is it interesting that dan beebe, having been told by phone by bog xii officials that the review got it right on the one second remaining, said he would have to see it for himself? what on earth does that mean? that he mistrusts the conference people?

another another thing. should we mention to the pelini's that if they see the film and still feel they were cheated, that they might consider posting it as a cornhusker conference championship with an asterisk?

In other news, Matt Leinart thinks that USC is the superior team, regardless of records.

It's all about the hardware, whether you're Leinart or Pelini or whoever else. You lost, get over it, admit defeat. If the conspiracy runs that deep, clearly Texas has become the hotbed of black-bag operations. Who knew?

And then, when you think it can't get worse, you get this gem:

Husker Kicker Was Paid Off, Too?

Scroll halfway down. Some douchebag is claiming that not only were the refs paid, that because the Nebraska kicker is from Texas, apparently we got to him, too.

i just read your comment, freyguy. yes, with the really ugly stuff just out about mangino and all the stuff we've heard about stoops and his conditioning guy over the years, a picture is emerging.

freyguy - you are correct about the snyder / stoops line of jackassery. however, Hayden "Crybaby" Fry is the patriarch, and he never gets enough credit for being the flaming ******* that he is. jmo.
