Other Regionals

I want to see lots and lots of "good at bats" in the 1st 4 innings, you know 5-6 pitch at bats. We can burn up Stanford's pitching staff.

This unethical Stanford coach who is burning out Quinn Matthews' arm (as said above 179 pitches in 3 days:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:) won't be able to do that again--Matthews will be too sore. I don't think he could pull this off on back-to-back weekends.

Gordon hasn't gone the distance often, we're going to need someone out of the bullpen to finish it, if we have the lead.

For me, the key is:

Whoever relieves Gordon and if the bottom of our lineup can continue to contribute.

Attention All California Private/Catholic High School League Pitchers!
(The best well of high school pitching talent in the nation--ask Geno)

Take a good close look at what Stanford's Coach will do to you. That's the sort of thing that can burn out your arm and take years off your pitching career. Come to a place that appreciates your future.

I don’t care what anyone says, Aggies choking TWO GAMES “could be” GLORIOUS! They’re a much tougher “out” than Tree! There is ZERO Home Field advantage at Tree!

Well, Stanford isn't done putting up runs yet. 2 on, 2 outs in the 8th. Ags will make another pitching change.

5-1 Stanford.

179 pitches total in 3 days....good grief.

I think cardinal red might be my second favorite color after burnt orange. Maroon, on the other hand, is ugly

aTm has more than a few good bats, but they're clearly a very undisciplined team. Talented enough, but very sloppy. Hope they're not wasting much $ on their coaching staff.

Both of these teams (Stanford and aTm) are good batting lineups with 1-2 good pitchers, then a bunch of guys they found pitching in American Legion baseball or something. If (1st Team All-American) Gordon gets the W in game 1, either of these 2 teams would have a very difficult chance of coming back.
*neither of these 2 teams would have an easy chance

My picks for upsets out of their respective regionals:

Duke
East Carolina
Iowa
Texas A&M
Campbell
I figure one 3 seed will win a regional, I'm thinking between North Carolina and OU if their 2 seed doesn't win it.

*not including Texas cause i don't want to jinx it but they can beat anyone.

Now that aggy is out.

I only got one of my 5 upsets, I’m batting .200. There were several surprises though, Oral Robert’s, Southern Miss, TCU and Oregon all beat the odds. (I expected Texas to win but didn’t want to jinx it)

no controversy over where the super is being held now, it will be in Palo Alto starting Friday.

What if our AD out-bid$$$ Stanford for the Super?
