I was referring to Wade's hit on Lawrence. I saw the replay 7 times and saw a jarring lead with the crown of a helmet on Trevor's helmet every time.Just in case there is any confusion, the photo posted by Stat is of a different play than the one that has been discussed earlier in this thread.
At least they get to the CFP. Helloooo Alamo Bowl!Blow U, the King of One and Done in the CFP.
I give up. He was leading with the crown of his helmet. Textbook case one would think.
Why wasn't this targeting on the QB?
Baby steps first. Blow U needs to remember how to win a bowl game first. At least they get to the CFP. Helloooo Alamo Bowl!
I beg to differ. It was to Trevor's face mask because Trevor is the taller player. It was really more a chest to chest but Trevor leaned down. What could the tackler do?I was referring to Wade's hit on Lawrence. I saw the replay 7 times and saw a jarring lead with the crown of a helmet on Trevor's helmet every time.

Probably, and it’s a good point. But let me throw this out there:I'd rather be known as one and done instead of done long before one.
it’s a good point
Certainly, OU didn't go into that game expecting to be embarrassed. If we had the chance, we would have taken it gladly. Right? Does any team go into a Bowl game with the attitude that they will be thrashed? OU was a one-loss team playing in the CFP. We would be a 7-5 (8-5?) team who won a non-CFP game. Which team has the better story going forward?Probably, and it’s a good point. But let me throw this out there:
If Texas beats UT, who has the better story to tell recruits going into the off-season? I know that sounds crazy but given the extent to which OU was embarrassed (historic proportions) — and yes, we sucked with a 7-5 record — but if I’m Herman I talk about our new OC & DCs, and taking LSU to the brink.
17-18 year old kids have a short attention span...
While I do agree, the egg they laid will be very hard to explain away. And if they lose their HC, OU might be in a world of hurt from an image standpoint. That is, unless they replace him with Meyers, Stoops (2nd tour) or someone of that magnitude.Certainly, OU didn't go into that game expecting to be embarrassed. So, OU loses their head coach because their success afforded him an opportunity. We are replacing both of our coordinators because... I don't think we win that battle. I am hoping that we are on the right path now with Ash and Yurcivich. While I do agree, the egg they laid will be very hard to explain away. There is an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) link at the top that addresses this and other things. How do you upload or post a pic. I tried to upload it to an image viewer and inserted link, but can't get it to show.
If they watched any tape of LSU they should have. Of course they thought the LSU defense was suspect and could keep up in a scoring contest with Hurts and Cee Dee.OU didn't go into that game expecting to be embarrassed.
Then OU is your team. Their record has been perfect the last 4 years. They have hit the wall and gone SPLAT 4 years running. Their credibility kind of sucks for now.I'd rather be known as one and done instead of done long before one.
Oh, I think keeping the head coach wins a lot of battles. So, OU loses their head coach because their success afforded him an opportunity. We are replacing both of our coordinators because... I don't think we win that battle. I am hoping that we are on the right path now with Ash and Yurcivich.
Then OU is your team.
What calendar are you using?
