OTHER GAMES

Can't blame him for scoring there but it might have been better to go down at the 1. But it's not like they could have just knelt three times and kicked the chip shot with no time remaining, so declining an available TD would be a gamble.

tOSU has felt like the better team all game long. Just every time they make a mistake the Tigers make them pay for it. But if tOSU scores a TD here this one is close to over. Way this game has played out Clemson will hold them to a field goal and get one last chance to win.
Or now tOSU has the late TD chance to win.

telling the wife the same thing.

Turner had already read that pass and might have gotten it anyway. Would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Olave had kept going to the middle.

He had the corner beat but saw the safety waiting to take his head off and broke off the route. I think he would have scored had he stayed with it

We play in the big 12 we see crappy calls every single week that they all get wrong. Had that been a rb,wr, or te that doesn’t get called on that play. Unless they changed the rule making the facemask the crown of the helmet then okay I understand but he didn’t lead with his helmet he squared him up Lawrence braced himself. I just don’t see it. If I’m wrong that’s fine won’t be the first time but I think it was a bad call because If that’s targeting then they need to throw that flag on almost every ball carrier because they drop their head just about every single carry.

I guess I'll ask one more time. 1st the replay you are watching doesn't show well how the defender dropped his head as you're seeing more from the defenders back. The one from the side I saw more clearly shows how the defender dropped his head and actually does hit him with the crown of the helmet. In this replay you can see him drop his head, and then it pops back up. But it's much harder to see the targeting. The one from the side it was pretty obvious top of the helmet. Always dangerous to make a conclusive statement off of one angle.

I still think the two best teams in the country are the OSU and LSU, so I am disappointed I won't get to see them square off for the big prize. Clemson's offense is not nearly as good as LSU's, and I'm not convinced Clemson's defense is better than LSU's, so I think the championship game may turn out to be more one sided than an OSU LSU contest would have been. I'll still be watching, though. ;)

i saw it from multiple vantage points every replay espn showed every view and it looked like a clean hit to me. Even in real time it looked like a solid hit. You have to remember Lawrence is like 6’6 that db is like 6 feet even maybe. He didn’t jump and lung at the guy now how is he going to make contact with the crown of his helmet to Lawrence’s helmet without leaving his feet? You think I’m just using that twitter link for justification I’m not, it was just the only video I saw posted that showed the hit at that time

I realize nothing is going to convince anybody to change their view, one way or the other, but the fourth time he's hit on this set of replays is the clearest to me
