Florida gets a dubious 4th down and no review happens. Maybe he made it but I can't believe they didn't even look at it. Then scores a TD and goes for 2 but screws it up. QB held onto the ball way too long in a zone read and ends up running together with the RB both touching the ball. Not sure what he was trying to accomplish since all it did was to slow his own RB down and keep him from being able to change direction. Alabama still leads 31-29 after being up 21-3 early.

What an anticlimactic ending. Florida QB needed to either just launch it for grabs, or else toss a blind lateral while going down. Why get tackled with the ball when you know it's the last play? What do you have to lose?

Geez,after watching Bama and Fla play,and we are going to the SEC. We get drummed by a cellar dweller in that conference. Unless we improve dramatically we better get use to being in the SEC cellar. there is a night and day difference between those teams and us.

Wow, Boise just got screwed by the refs again near the end of the 4th quarter. It's really dumb that a whistle that wasn't blown until the defender has already picked up and run with the ball for 20+ yards and has a clear path to score can still make the play revert to the spot of the recovery.

I get that if they blow the whistle right away you can't give a guy the return yardage because some players might have stopped or let up. But this was different since the whistle was way late and the outcome of the play was already decided by that point.
