New Thread Feature: The Chicken-:e-poo: AD of the week award.

This illustrious award goes to the AD whose (good) team has scheduled the weakest, most pathetic, most-overmatched non-conference opponent for the week.

This week, we go up North to B1G country, where Penn State's Sandy Barbour wins the illustrious Chicken-:e-poo: AD of the week award for scheduling Villanova:

Barbour edged out Ohio State's Gene Smith, who scheduled Akron.

Navy at Houston - both teams are a bit down. I don't see the Middies pulling this one off in the Bayou City.

Is Gladchuk stupid enough to return to the Third Ward? Sure he is because he's too dumb to know he's ****** all his friends over and has none left. Any Texas fans that tried to attend our cluster visit to the Third Ward, should go out there and hand him maps of how to get to Anahuac. Is there a bigger piece of **** in college athletics?

Chop,

Don't be so quick on that award. State Penn has long (50+ years) scheduled schools that you had to research to find out where they were located. Look at the list of Paterno's wins, and 70%+ of those came against teams with losing records.

Bobby Bowden on the other hand would play anybody, anytime, any where to help build FSU.

Oh, there will be a new award every week. She just barely edged out Ohio State’s AD this week who scheduled mighty Akron.

Don't forget the Miami AD who taught us that Connecticut IS apparently large enough to HAVE a Central Connecticut State AND that Central Connecticut State has a ***** for a football team, traveling to Miami...

Woah, how did I miss this one:

Miami (of Florida-The U) is playing Central Connecticut. Not U Conn, but CENTRAL CONNECTICUT!!!

WTF Miami?!?!?!? :confused2::confused2::confused2:

Just saw that on the scores. The U got a free pass this week. CENTRAL Conn…?!?!?!

Mordecai led the Ponies to another score.

35-24 SMU

TCU ball

Patterson is sweating it. (Nothing new there to see…)

Woah!

SMU stuffed a TCU 4th down play. Ball goes over to the Ponies on downs. Not looking good for the Frogs.

SMU with the win over TCU for the coveted Iron Skillet.

Of note: SMU’s running backs ran wild through TCU’s defense. That much bodes very well for our RBs.

TCU did get 3 picks though, so I hope Casey doesn’t try to force it when it’s not there.

TCU run defense appears to have some leaks. If Horns execute well on the oline, as they did against Tceh, there will be success running against the Frogs.

If only CT had started against Arky… But so far, I love what I’m seeing at Arlington.

Lame tackling by TAM. Jimbo’s head may explode.

I’m seeing a pattern of Arkansas showing up to big games well prepared and starting out on fire. They must have good scouting, analysts, and coaching. They’ve gone from lousy to good in a very short time. Odom is really good at DC.

Plus, they have Bumper Pool.

Baylor - sporting gaudy all bright yellow unis - is up on ISU 21-10. Purdy is having to scramble a lot. Baylor is using a full bag of tricks on D and bringing pressure with decent containment. Meanwhile, ISU keeps shooting itself in the foot. Dumb penalties, etc.
