That is the fraud of a selection committee. What a $ disaster if Cincinnati won out in a true playoff and played BYU for the championship. They could never allow that, even if they were hands down the best two teams. And so we have a “selection committee” meeting in private with fine food and drink? We should call it a manipulation committee. Or the big cigar committee. They will decide who is qualified to come to the big dance, just like the ugly sisters and the stepmother. Others can’t get a ticket.Maybe Notre Dame is getting blown out in a CCG? But also consider the "Selection Committee" seems to lean toward the SEC to round out the CCG selection. They put in a one loss Bama a few years ago when Bama didn't even make the playoffs. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems to be all about the $$$ from TV and ticket sale revenues.
Please tell me of another college or professional athletic event without a playoff or head to head competition. Let’s all get behind the committee boys. Rah, rah.
