That is the fraud of a selection committee. What a $ disaster if Cincinnati won out in a true playoff and played BYU for the championship. They could never allow that, even if they were hands down the best two teams. And so we have a “selection committee” meeting in private with fine food and drink? We should call it a manipulation committee. Or the big cigar committee. They will decide who is qualified to come to the big dance, just like the ugly sisters and the stepmother. Others can’t get a ticket.

Please tell me of another college or professional athletic event without a playoff or head to head competition. Let’s all get behind the committee boys. Rah, rah.

I think it should be 5 Conf champions plus 3 wildcards. Committee can hold a beauty pageant for the 3 wildcards but at least Conf Champs would be in.
 
My CBS station is having a battle with Direct TV and I have not had CBS for a while. Anybody know a stream for the Alabama game?
 
Aggy is probably better than Ohio State and ND but they have just two wins over teams with a winning record and their best win Florida is getting uglier by the minute. I would feel sorry for them if I didn’t remember how much they enjoyed our getting screwed in 2008.

Why not give Cincy a chance-ND & Aggy already lost significantly to Clem and Bama-perfect opportunity let a non power 5 school in?

Exactly! No group of five teams should be allowed to play in the P5 playoffs, nor in the playoff games. If the NCAA wants to have a NCG for the group of five, let them set that up separately from the P5 games.
