Right off the bat....Refs helping ou with targeting call and ejection of one of ISUs key defensive players. Ou goes deep to his side of the field on next play setting up touchdown.
ISU will be without one of best defenders from 2nd play of game on. Led with shoulder pads but it was a tough hit to head
 
NU Mildcats up 10-3 over the OSU Covids.

With 22 or so out, the line dropped to NU +17 by this morning. I want to see NU pull this out as a straight-up win just to show how FOS the CFB Playoff crap and the Big Ten shenanigans were (and are).
 
This no call for encroachment is Big12 ou lovin atrocious. I see it called multiple times every week much less egregiously

I understand your point, but I think it's the right call to allow the defensive guy to come back. I think they've been calling that wrong most of the time. I like the way it used to be called where a defensive guy might step into the line of scrimmage but come back if the ball is not snapped.
 
aOSU is in jeopardy all right. NW has been tackling well and playing fundamentally sound (for the most part). The Buckeyes aren't beating them up in the trenches, as they do against most opponents.

Kudos to a brainy campus like NW for fielding a team that can hang with the Bucks. NW is like Vandy, Duke, or Rice (in the classroom and research lab--not on the field, obviously).

Note for Chop's binder: Purple teams tend to play tough, have good fundamentals, tackle well, and generally play above the star level of their recruits.

Looks like aOSU will hold off NW for the victory and Big 10 Championship. They've been hitting pretty hard out there.

Let’s be honest. For years I have defended Texas football as having a history of being a top program, along with the big boys, to include OU. The truth of the matter is the B12, including Texas, are all butt boys to OU. Texas is an also ran in college football.

One reason OU is a premier program is their administration wants them to be the best. Eggheads at UT don’t seem to care and are too dimb to know how much revenue wnning football brings the school. Fans need to stop with the money for tickets, t-shirts and hats. OU takes the best from Texas high school football and rubs all of the Texas B12 noses in it. I accept the fact they are an Alabama and Texas is just another team on Saturdays. OK cannot be another Texas, but their sooners can kick the sh-t out of Texas colleges EVERY year. They own the B12. They are out of the other teams’ league. With the talent they have, and soon will have, reinforced by coaching, AD and their administration, the worm will not turn anytime soon.

Is your local ABC affiliate owned by Tegna? In the Houston area it’s the local CBS station (owned by Tegna) that’s blacked out. And it’s because Tegna wants more $$$ from DirecTV/ATT. They won’t allow their stations to be carried until ATT ponies up more $$$.

Should know but dont know who owns DFW - ABC affiliate. Used to be Belo Broadcasting.
 
So it’s been 11 seasons now without a conference championship. Last time that sort of thing occurred was the drought from 1931 to 1941. A conference championship every few years would be nice.
