OTHER GAMES

Is that 11 losses in a row for Sumlin?

He went 4-8 last year and is 0-4 so far this year, but last year he lost opening day then won 4 in a row, before losing his last 7 straight, so yep! 11 straight and 4-12 for both seasons he's been out here.

I'm tempted to tell them I'll be the HC for a lot less money and hire some other Hornfans posters to run the program. Probably do a lot better than Sumlin has done. That's 4 wins out of 16 games which is 25% winning percentage. Man, that really stinks!

UofA pays him $3.5 mil per year. Divide just his salary among 10 coaches and that's $350,000 per year. Not a bad takeaway.

What a beatdown Bammer put on LSU 55-17...............worst loss by a defending Nat Champ EVER!..........my LSU compadres are really on Orgeron's rear end. One of them has a few inside connections and thinks that the sexual assault stuff brewing is fixin to bite Coach O in the butt. To bad Sam didnt get another shot at that defense.

Reporter: “Coach Orgeron, could you articulate for us an explanation for all these sexual assault allegations, it’s starting to look like Baylor around here?”

Big Ed: “Wellla, ayea jurrsst gunna sayyyyy dat dem gurlzzza werrzza errr prolly axxxin furr et dare. Ain nuttin dat dooona happin et erry hi skooo en dis hear stay ya no.”

One addition to the coach O's comment...."GEAUX TIGUHS" He always ends his interviews with that "go tigers" thing.

Brilliant idea
Sort of a play-in
Settle it on the field

12/12

Plenty of cancellations. Here’s some of what’s left. It’s some pretty slim pickens on the table today.

UNC v Miami — Mack v Manny. Sorry folks, I think Manny wins out today. Somehow, Manny learned to coach __efense somewhere along the way and the Canes are quite good. HOW DID WE LET THIS AMAZING COACH GO?!?!?!?

UCLA v USC — always a fun game even in a down year. The best cross city game (Houston v Rice being the other one of note). UCLA has shown some improvement, but USC’s got the horses. Trojans wear them down. Helton’s job is preserved.

Army v Navy — one of the greatest rivalries of all. They’re playing at West Point for the first time since WW2. Most games have been in Philadelphia or NY. Army has had the better year, with Navy being a notch or two down after losing QB Perry. Navy has improved as the year went on. Could be a tight one. Navy leads the all time series by 9 games. Go Navy!

Rutgers v Maryland — they never should have let these two laggards into the Big 10.

Okla St v Baylor — The Mullet takes them down.

Houston v Memphis — Tigers are bigger cats than Cougars.

LSU v Florida — Trask lights them up. Big Ed will mumble something about 2020 in his interview. Ed steps up the recruiting cheating to another level to get back on top.

AU v the Pirate — I’m hoping the Pirate acts as the spoiler today. Nix is even worse than the MSU QBs.

Georgia v Missouri — the dawgs of the East crush the tigers. The Tigers O is respectable, but not against Georgia’s D.

Wake v Louisville - Wake’s O and QB Hartman light up the boards. Keep an eye on this guy for a future NFL QB.

Mich St v Penn St — go Spartans.

Tennessee v Vanderbilt — Tennessee looks to its in-State rival (0-8 Vandy) to find a team they can actually beat. Vols win an ugly game.

VT v NC State - who cares.

GT v Pitt — ditto.

overall, an appropriate end to the 2020 regular season...

Colorado receiver returned a punt for a 81 yard TD run in the first half, and then the same guy took a simple wide receiver bubble screen for a 61 yard TD sprint to start the second half.
