Looked more like a slow sweep pitch to the RB to me.

I just watched a replay. After seeing the replay, I’d put more blame on the RB. The pitch hit him in the face mask and the Irish defender took it from there.

Well designed play by Dabo Sweeney indeed. He just had the QB running forward faking a QB draw up the gut, then hit Etienne running down the middle behind the LBs who came up.

My overall impression thus far:

Irish better up front
Clemson better at the skill positions, but they need Trevor Lawrence badly.

Nice 2 minute (actually about one minute) drill by ND. Worked it into Clemson territory with 23 seconds left in the half. QB run. TO with 3 seconds left. It s a very long FG attempt coming up.
