In nearly every "project" the answer has been yes. It's O'Keefe's shtick. He purports to be someone he's not trying to get something salacious said on video then edits it to fit a predetermined narrative. Heck, he says as much in his opening monologues to his videos. Of course, in the more high profile incidences where his videos have been critiqued it's been proven that he's edited the videos to leave out key contextual items. Like Mr. Vero who said "I cannot help you" 6 times before finally going along with O'Keefe's plan, then reported O'Keefe to law enforcement. Of course, those 6 times where Mr. Vero tries to say "no thank you" are conveniently missing from his produced video. Why? Because it would show that the people he's ensnaring are resistant at best and simply weak enough to be badgered into saying something stupid.

I saw the unedited tapes a few years ago. Are they now gone? I haven't checked lately. You mean to tell me you can't look at the edited tapes and see anything of truth? You can't tell when things have been spliced together or not? All before the California AG and the GAO had determined nothing illegal occurred. The fact that he turned around and told the law enforcement of the interaction points to Mr. Vero having no intention of doing something illegal which you can't admit for a pretty obvious reason.
