utter and completely weak bull **** hooking call on Zubov. I can't believe they have given 6 minutes of power play time to SJ in the first 10 minutes of the game.
Anyone know who this colour commentary guy is for Versus? He is Bryant Gumbel good.
 
A 4 goal third period = *** kicking. I thought the game was still going on and was hoping to listen to it since I don't have versus. Seeing the end result makes me just as happy.
 
wow. this team is special. no matter what happens from here on out, I am a happy camper. We have a great team and the future looks bright. What a game!
 
for the first time this playoff run i now firmly believe that the Stars can win the cup. I was very hesitant at first but after dismantling the defending champions in 6 and now looking even better against the Sharks i think they can do it...

GO STARS!!!

Wow. Can you believe that 3rd? I think both teams have played about even but the difference has been the goaltending; Turco has outplayed Nabokov. The Stars have been very patient in waiting for their opportunities instead of forcing shots and their play in the nuetral zone has been really good at times.

That play on the Zubov no-look, reverse curl pass to Modano on the backside to beat Nabokov was a thing of beauty.
 
I think the Stars are the most patient team I've ever seen. They have to be maddening to play against.

I wish the NHL kept a stat for the average time the puck is in the offensive zone on a possession that ends with a goal. Not so much last night, but Dallas gets so many goals where they have the puck in the offensive zone for 15+ seconds, cycling it around before they get a good shot. Everybody on the team has bought into that type of attack. Amazing.

Tonight's game also appears to not be on TV in Houston either. At least not if you have comcast.

I had actually planned to watch the game tonight and didn't even consider it might not be on.

its not on TV in the rest of the state because its on a local channel in the Dallas area (MY27). The reason for this is that the Rangers-Royals game is on FSN and has been for about 2 months now. Tomorrow's stars game is on FSN though, so it should be shown across the state.
 
For those in austin we have formed an unofficial stars fan club and we gather at Legends Sports Bar to watch the game. They've offered us drink specials and appetizer specials for the duration of the playoffs. Come join us.
 
Time-Warner Austin's online guide has FSN showing the Stars game tomorrow (luckily the Astros have an afternoon game). The game is an 8:10 start so Versus will likely join in on the backend of the first period (Habs-Flyers at 6).
 
No Stars in Colorado. We get the Penguins/Rangers game as the early game and the Red Wings/Avs as the late game. Not sure why they show a Eastern Conference game in a Western Conference market.
 
yea i clicked watch live, it just sits there with a black screen.....it says it is showing the game....but it lies.....black screen.
