Nebraska vs Northwestern

Well Casey did have an uneven rocky performance last Saturday and human nature as it is, you know he was going to get grilled. I hope he and Nebraska win every game the rest of the season unless they play us in the end.

I am indifferent on Casey but would like Frost to turn it around. We can probably all agree that he needs to light OU up.

1. Nothing to say about his time here

Sorry dudes I’m not calling anyone out here specifically, but my comment was generalized at the fan base at large. I visit several sites and discuss football in person. By sheer numbers, the fans outweigh the media so there will be more punks in total. I sorta expect media to be critical and over the top on their commentary. I do expect that of fans too but restraint is lacking too for both groups.

I am perfectly fine being critical of play, but that should also highlight some of the positives too. I just can’t resign myself to such and such sucks or x should never play again.

With respect to Casey, my initial comment was an observation beyond just this site. No doubt the recency of the Northwestern game has the discussion on an uptick. And criticism of him has been less personal than some.

It’s a great game. It’s a great history. College football is special. A little less jackassery, myself included, would make it even better.

I can see your point. I’ve become more of an *** on the boards. Also, keep in mind, my comments are not directed at those on this board specifically. But holy hell guys like Jones, Brockermeyer, Bush get roasted. I know it’s always been a thing but those guys have presumably been good teammates and have worked at improving. And at worst, they aren’t worse than others.

But if you want to think ironic, you should hear me whine and complain during games, generally more coaching and officiating though.
