I have said this before, anytime a short pass is thrown over the line of scrimmage the receiver needs to have his hands up already before the ball gets there because the ball will be high. Reaching up late often causes a missed catch. I have seen this many times. Coaches need to remind the receivers of this.
NW simply ran over Nebraska in the second half and Thompson looked bad passing the ball. There were a few drops also

Yes indeed. That's why I said a few weeks ago that I appreciate all he gave the program, but I don't particularly feel nostalgic to have him back.

He is definitely on a very short leash, and that's a shame. Being in Lincoln was his dream job, but competing in the Big 10 is a very tough assignment.

If I heard correctly the Huskers had a bunch of new players including from the portal and a new offensive coordinator. That takes time to jell
