Luigi the Assassin -- Hailed as a Hero by Many

Smiley the Assassin is still on the run...

Probably by the end of the week, his image will be printed on t-shirts worn by the edgy youth.

The response is not surprising. Only a handful of people can identify with the CEO. Nearly everyone can identify with the gunman, who either had a denied claim or a loved one with a denied claim.
Oh, I totally get the sentiment, and the frustration with attempting to get anything approaching justice against big insurance companies in our legal system. But, IMHO, legal reform is a MUCH better alternative to assassinations.

It's all a huge bump for the private security industry. Very soon, the new norm will be armed body guards (paid for by the company) escorting C-Suite-level big wigs everywhere they go, 24-7. Think South America.

I agree. I'm not approving murder in any sense. Best of luck on legal reform since the insurance industry probably has enough lobbyists to populate an NFL sized city.

We're becoming South America.

Hollowed out middle class. Very wealthy upper class. Big and growing lower class barely making it. Polarized radical politics. Loss of moderation. Violence. Now assassinations, and general lawlessness.

They do.

Citizens United needs to go. Otherwise, we'll become more and more of a corporate oligarchy.

^And the Democrats keep insisting on the benefits of single-payer (Government) medical insurance - maybe the U.S. should look carefully at the experience of other countries who have Government health care.

To be fair, we lump all European systems together as though they're all the same, and they aren't. For example, Germany sorta has a quasi-Obamacare as originally intended. There is a government insurance program (funded through a payroll tax similar to FICA) that covers almost everybody, while high earners often buy private insurance. However, the healthcare providers are almost entirely private. Accordingly, though the government finances and regulates the cost of services, the market can and does create competition and choice when it comes to actual healthcare services. If I had to choose a government system, this is the one I'd choose.

The National Health Service in the UK is true socialized medicine. Your GP (works at a local office called a "surgery") is a government employee and acts as a gatekeeper on access to specialist care (which is also government employees), and of course, he is subject to guidelines by NHS bureaucrats. There is an illusion of choice, because you can change surgeries if you don't like yours. However, they're all following the same NHS playback. Besides, the actual doctors are largely conscientious professionals doing their best in a terrible system that forces them to prioritize the system over patients. The incentives are terrible.

Can we call the Left and radical environmentalists "stochastic terrorists" now?
I posted an article before arguing that Ted K was ahead of his time. It further stated to expect more assassinations as the left becomes more nihilistic. Climbing the nihilistic ladder is the only way someone on the left can distinguish themselves. Race to the bottom so to speak in anti-humanism.

Doesn't it seem strange that the dude didn't do a better job of concealing his identity and certainly could have done a better job of hiding

Luigi was from a prominent family in Maryland. His cousin is a Maryland state rep. His Grandad, Dad, and Uncle were apparently fairly big-time real estate developers. Golf course communities and assisted living communities. He’s a U Penn grad.

Hmmmmmmmm. Lots of similarities to Trump.

No he is a ******* idiot.

Quote from Luigi:

My tech is pretty locked down because I work in engineering so probably not much info there. I do apologize for any strife of traumas but it had to be done. Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy

Another ******* moron who doesn’t understand western violence or the reasons for the lower life expectancy in the US (higher suicide rate, higher overdoses, higher auto accidents, higher murders, higher total accidents, higher obesity, etc.). None of the foregoing has to do with health insurance industry. This ******* moron went to an ivy school?
