Texas has the highest win probability in the 1st round games at 79%. That's pretty damn high. Please Sark don't screw it up.

I think Texas will win, but I've got to give Clemson some credit. I think Cade Klubnik and T.J. Parker will keep it close until the 4th quarter. I remember watching Cade Klubnik play when he was the quarterback at Westlake, and he was awesome back then.

Also, after Texas wins this game, they should also have the highest win probability in the 2nd round (New Year's Day) games as well. Some of the 2nd round matchups look to be really tough, except for the Arizona State bracket. That is why Texas being the #5 seed is the best thing that could have happened to them. Imagine being the #1 or #2 seed and having to play Notre Dame or Ohio State in the New Years Day games.

I'm thinking the running game will return. Plus Clemson won't have the zeal of OU or A&M. I'm counting on one field goal because I think he will actually get a shot at two, maybe three and will only make one. I think a couple of drives that might have stalled against Georgia will result in touchdowns against these guys.

No way am I thinking ahead or thinking our bracket is "easiest" or some computer at ESPN gives us a 79% chance of winning. The idiots at ESPN as well as the Vegas oddsmakers had us favored over Georgia, which made no sense considering what they did to us in Austin. So talking heads, computers, odds makers don't mean squat to me. The game is played on the field and the best team doesn't always win. One play, one game at a time. I'll predict a score, but it's more wishful thinking than it is a prediction. I just want a win. A low stress game like the Michigan or OU game would be nice, but any victory will do.

It's seems to be getting harder to predict college football games. Most teams have at least some talent. I think there are a few 8-4 teams this year that might be able to win a playoff game or two. I'm glad I'm not a gambler. The portal and NIL might be responsible for some parity but within a few years I expect the talent to concentrate around big money schools.

Oh....right....this is a prediction thread. Ok. Texas finds a running game because Clemson's front seven aren't elite. The offensive linemen once again look like possible NFL picks.
