Will QE close his career out with a positive run......or will he continue to be unable to execute in the red zone and turn the ball over? A win provides hope and possibilities and a loss will turn an otherwise good season into lots of "what ifs". Sorry but I'm not feeling very confident.

Thanks for the dose of reality. I tend to agree. I long for the stellar games of old...like when Ewers first started. Those days are gone with him. No RPOs, no sweeps, no flea-flickers, nada. Except for a sometime "punch 'em in the gut" running game, Texas' offense is boring. I wish the best for them, but I sure hope Texas gets a new offensive line and an offensive coordinator next season where Arch can use his legs. Texas 17-14.

Just for reference, the Texas OL has been generally graded as number 1 to number 5 depending on the raters. Assuming you see it as number 2, there is always room for improvement.

No doubt about it this will be a tough game. Clemson is basically aggy with better passing on paper.

Obviously games aren't played on paper, but if Texas gift wraps them a couple of free TD's like they have multiple times this season it's by by NC title hopes.

It will come down to turnovers and penalties, and I don't think B10 officials will be on our side.

Clemson will be ready for the horizontal passes to the flat and one or more pick 6's are probable, and maybe a game winner for them. This play needs to go to a secondary receiver for positive yards.

I'm just saying the margin of victory will come down to whether Quinn can find open receivers and complete downfield passes. Do that and it completely opens up the run game and we'll score what we want.

Clemson isn't scoring more than 14 points, but if we can't get the passing going we may win 20 or 24 -14. Clemson has not been stellar in pass defense this year so I'm going with hitting a couple long passes early on the Wisner running for 100+ yds to eat them alive.

While I feel better about this game than I did for the Georgia game, I'm still not certain which team we'll see. I hope I'm wrong but I'm thinking this will be another close game. We'll certainly have the home field advantage.

The worst part is that we're traveling on Saturday. We'll be able to watch the first half in the airport. I don't know that Southwest carries TNT as one of their live TV stations onboard. I'm hoping for a blowout in the first half so I don't have to worry about the score while we're flying.

Still don't understand the spread...has Vegas not seen that Texas doesn't play in Q3 and have they missed our anemic red zone output?

Texas doesn't contain dual threat QBs properly. Texas cannot kick without having a cardiologist on standby. And we cannot hit the deep ball with touch except when QB2 is in the game...a QB who also has wheels.

Texas wins but doesn't cover. And the game will be in doubt late. Should be sunny but cool...
