Oh wow, thanks for telling me. My Chelski friend that i am going to watch the game with kept telling me it was Saturday
That was disappointing to see the late break down at the back. Not sure why Carra let it bounce around so much and Arbeloa left the backside open for Simao. Oh well, not terribly hurt by the draw
Facing a resurgent Tottenham squad at the Lane this weekend. Torres should be fit again, so we got that going for us. Don't know if Keano will feature, but you'd have to think that if he's fit he will want to get an appearance against his old club.
Let's keep it up. We've usually dropped points by now and are playing catch up, and this is the time of the season that we rattle off 7-10 in a row, so let's hope we can do that this year.
The referee today was a Swedish firefighter and it definitely showed. Played well enough for the point but the PK to Gerrard was a total gift. Either way the match isn't terribly important. Looked like Agger dislocated a finger. Hopefully Torres will make fit again soon.
I've read that Keane, Gerrard, Carra, Kuyt and Xabi will all sit out tomorrow at White Hart Lane for the Carling cup match, possibly joined by Reina, Agger and Riera
I'd like to see...
Diego
Arbeloa Hyypia Agger Dossena
Pennant Lucas Plessis Yossi/El Zhar
Torres Babel
Bring on Ngog at the half or shortly after for Torres. I think a start will be good for el Nino but definitely a full 90 mins
I agree. Two straight 0-0 home draws to fulham and west ham are tough to swallow. Could be up by 5 points right now. Oh well. Let's hold on to that lead
