I was hugely worried about the loss of LJH but after tonight, well, that’s one worry I don’t have any more.
 
Coaching cost us this game...... Too much 3 man front on defense PERIOD !!!
Inside the ten ran 8 plays and got nothing because Ingram dropped a TD pass but more important was the terrible play calls on the other 7 plays... We have three or four WRs who are 6'6" and didn't throw it up to them ONCE !!!!! Cost us 7 pts...
Time management at end of half 7 points for LSU. That is a 14 point swing !!!! We lost by 7....Loss on COACHES !!!!!

We just played a great team to a 7 pt game with a dropped easy TD and another TD inches short. Good grief. OLine played great. I mean great. This is a really good D. I'm not mad at any player. Just at Orlando and Herman for being too arrogant.
 
Herman Made some questionable calls that’s for sure, but maybe he made the decision to go for it on 4th an goal because he knew our D was not going to be able to stop them. That sideline reporter said early in the first half that LSU was saying our DBs couldn’t stay with the receivers. She was right. Jalen Green & Koby Boyce were exposed over & over again.
 
Those of you waiting for the perfect game to be called by any coach are going to be waiting a long time. Hindsight only works if you can see the future.
 
This loss sits squarely on the shoulders of one Todd Orlando. Very disappointing to know we have a one-trick pony on the defensive side of the ball.

ou will hang half a hundred on us if things don’t change. I’m not saying that playing some zone defense is the answer, but I’m definitely saying playing man is not the answer. DBU? Ha!

This +100. Coaches cost us this game. I was having flashbacks to 2006 RB. Make one stop and we win. One stop. 3rd and 17 was there. Whole game was there. And we send the house. I'd put Orlando and probation and tell him get his **** together or we'll find someone else. We've had our Diaz. We don't need another one.

Outside of Oklahoma, who else has a offense to do this to our defense? Who has a defense to equal to the LSU defense?

I feel great about how we competed, we grew up a lot in this game, including Sam. Yea, it sucks we lost, but we were a dropped TD in the first quarter from putting up 45 on this team.

I told you guys we were very talented at the corner but they were going to take their lumps and have to grow up a lot.

Here is a take for you. Joseph Ossai is the best defensive player in the Big 12. Our Dbs are going to get better. Every year LSU recruits 5'star receivers, now they are in an offense to take advantage of their great talent. Our DBs weren't over matched, they were inexperienced, that is all. They will be completely different by the end of the season. No doubt in my mind.

I think they will be completely different by blOwU.
 
Tough loss. Offense played pretty well overall. Our LBs—not too shabby.

What we need most: better play at CB, better pass rush from our DL/DE positions, improved defensive play calling.

Right now, we’re a good, but not great, team, that is noticeably better at O than at D. LSU should be the best team we face all year. The sky is not falling. Assuming Sam stays healthy: 10-2 or 9-3. Worst case 8-4. I’m not through. I’m never through.

I was happy Tom called time out so that the offense would have the chance to move the ball down the field to get some points I don't think that was a bad call It just didn't work out

But everyone plays zone on 3rd and 17. Keep it all in front of you, make the tackle and get off the field. THat's not hindsight. That's just smart.

No offense, but I'm tired of the maybe next year and oh bioy we played good against a really good team stuff.

We could have won and we blew it. That's it.

Texas may be a blue blood somehow, but we are second fiddle to okie and we lost to LSU. Hell, Herbie says he may vote them #1 now.

Look through our history and see how many weeks Texas has held the #1 ranking. It's pathetic.

LSU fans want to make a case already for the CFP. As dumb as that entire state may be, they can at least figure out that they want to claim Texas is pretty good. Otherwise, what does the win mean?
