I agree that this DK is a great kid and i wish him the best. As much as i dislike SC i do have a bit of respect for them. This kid has a great future no matter where he plays. Wish him nothing but the best. The sentiments that i've seen on the SC boards are about the same as those here in regards to the kind of person he is and whether it's Texas or SC, they were wishing him the best as well.

Obviously, if you're a top player USC has loads of appeal. It's a fair choice.

Hopefully there will be some Texas-USC matchups in BCS bowl games down the road.

I personally feel its not as painful since the kid isn't a Texan. Thats when it really gets to me.

I hate to see any good kid make a mistake. But USC has an appealing program no doubt and if he doesn't mind the bus tracks when he decides to leave early I wish him the best.

This kid didn't jerk any body around. I think he handled the process the right way. Good luck to him at USC. Maybe one day, we'll get one of these late national commitments.
