Kennard: 'Commitment could be coming really soon'

I hope they get Mims. He seems to be more athletic than McFarland and with time will probably be a better pass rusher. With Kennard being indecisive they need to get this kid now.

dang..there is only one M at the end of Mims name...If he commits it will be like the whole Sims v. Simms that went on a few years ago.
 
Chris Mihm left for the NBA years ago, I don't think he has any eligibility left, even for football. Pipedream fellas. Someone tell Mack not to waste his time.
 
Things seem to be kinda quiet right now...haven't heard any news about his meeting with the new D-line coach.

I'm wondering what most kids opinion will be about Carroll's reaction to Sanchez declaring for the NFL...I think the press conference should have been about celebrating the kid moving on to a new challenge and taking advantage of his current 1st round projection instead of hearing his head coach discuss his opinion on why the kid would be better off staying in school. Seems selfish of PC to do that...whether true or not.
 
If Kennard wants to come to Texas they will find him a spot. But now it's not as disappointing if he doesn't.

The guys from Rivals don't think we have a chance at getting Kennard from USC. I hope they are wrong bc it would be icing on the cake to get him.

I am keeping my fingers crossed.

We are going to be great without him but, with him, the DL and Muschamp would be on a whole 'nother level.
 
After the Horns had him front & center out in Phoenix... and the longer he waits to announce his commitment, the odds grow longer of Texas landing him! Just my gut feeling on DK...

No ****. "Real soon" must not mean what I thought it meant.I'm just glad we have muschamp, he's the key.
 
I'm not sure when a prospective DE can be directed to use his speed and ability to play linebacker, or just be a very mean guy closer in to the center of the line with his paw on the ground.

I keep feeling that no matter what high school position guys have been playing, they are going to be moved forward and backward, and sideways, for all kinds of very fast and devastating tackling production.
 
He is now going to wait until Signing Day before annoucing publically...although he said he migh let the coaches know ahead of time...so much for a commitment coming soon.
 
I agree the longer Kennard waits, the better our chances of him choosing UT over SC. If he was all that hot for Carroll, he would've committed by now.
