ISIS looking at Southern border

About 10 years ago I did some work in the Valley and noticed how artificial the border really is. Several people I knew had houses in Reynosa and the McAllen/Mission area. I don't say that as a criticism, I enjoyed my time down there and the people I met. Much of the economy on both sides is based on people crossing the border and shopping.

The main thing I would like to see is the US to fine and/or imprison business owners who knowingly hire illegal aliens. One reason to do that is it is common sense. Another is that Mexico absolutely will not let an unauthorized and therefore illegal alien from the US be employed. I don't think the Mexican government would do anything to the business who did that, but the illegal employee would probably end up in jail.

I just think laws should be in place that benefit the nation itself and that law should be applied in a lenient way. I don't think we need to blindly apply law.

Some twitter exchanges are almost like being there ...

Mich, what does it matter if the location is in there or not? What you said is they won't use social media. The Mother Jones article shows that they will.
