My previous posts indicated that we have significantly increased border security following 9/11 (which is true). I showed disdain for the claim that the border is "insecure" and extreme skepticism at how much more security you guys really want as opposed to an anti-immigrant No-Nothing fall campaign screed. I also have repeatedly ridiculed the ISIS in Juarez claim. Judicial Watch just made this **** up.

How all of this gets turned into a strawman of "open borders" only the twisted atrophied brain of a right wing hack could explain. I did enjoy your little racial quip directed at me. I will give you a hint about my ethnicity. My family traces back to 1637 in Massachusetts. We did not have to undergo a background check or immigration control although I bet the natives now wish that they did.
 
Open border is the biggest reason that I have a "club" on my steering wheel, have to step over dirty diapers in the parking lot, and pay extremely high taxes. This is enough reason to control the border even if terrorism was not a threat ( which it certainly is ).

They "waltzed" in? The fact that we had the detention center overcrowding issue denotes they were captured while waltzing. Doesn't that point to a higher level of border security? Or, is this like the voter fraud issue where you try to bolster your argument by pointing to a lack of evidence?

You do not think the numbers of "illegals" apprehended in 1990 or 2000 or 2010 are relevant?

BTW these children are properly called refugees or asylum seekers. Many and perhaps most of them will be entitled to asylum in the United States. It is incorrect and offensive to call them illegal particularly since they are perfectly legal until their status is determined by an immigration judge.

I know you barely literate clowns will miss this nuance.

BTW how many asylum seekers has the US had each year since 1975?
 
So, the border patrol agents are lying when they say the border is not secure. Let's just say for the sake of argument that it is secure. Don't you think the reason would be increased border security coupled with the fact that it's been such a hot issue?

Regardless, only extreme naivety would lead someone to believe that it's secure. You mock the fact that's it's a political issue for the right. It needs to be an issue. So, while you may not be in favor of open borders, you seem to ridicule the fact that it's become an issue. There are an estimated 12 million people here illegally. We can't afford to absorb anymore.

But once paso gives his age I can give a precise answer.
At this point without knowing my assertion that we are not more secure than at any time in his life can be disproved anymore than paso's assertion that the border is more secure than at any time in his life can be proved.

Most intelligent people watch what s going on,read what Border agents report and understand the border is not a secure place.
