I dont think the claim about the fracture is far off. And I am not sure what we are supposed to due with this quarter of the adult population of the country which is insane.

Why even invoke the Civil War? It only encourages bile like mb227's post above.
This is the problem. There is NO line that is unacceptable to cross for Trump and his supporters will continue to hold everyone BUT the current POTUS accountable. It's this inability to say "that is NOT acceptable" that gives Trump license to solicit help from Foreign Governments for his personal political gain. He wasn't representing America's interests but rather his own in the conversation with Zelensky.

Is everyone at least on the same page now that this "whistleblower complaint" was not written by one person but rather by the Democrats and a string of lawyers?

It's ALWAYS about the accuser, never about what the accused did. We have a transcript in which the POTUS asks for "a favor" (a political favor) immediately after Zelinsky raises their need for more Javelin missiles. Without any other information, that appears to be an abuse of power.
The next step is to understand why Trump ordered the aid to Ukraine to be withheld, days before the call.
First reason: Due to fears of corruption in Ukraine. Answer: then there better be evidence of immediate efforts to address this.
Second reason: EU needs to contribute more. Answer: We should have evidence of an immediate discussion with the EU using the Ukraine aid as leverage.
What happens if no evidence of either exists? Then both reasons were hogwash and he was leveraging aid for his personal political benefit.

The Country IS fractured and grows more so every single day, led by the gun-grabbing, tax-and-spend left that wants to have open borders to let in people never properly vetted much less be afforded programs that the various jurisdictions cannot afford. The transcript did NOT show what the left-tards tried to claim it did. So instead they want to hang their hat on a hearsay document that is NOT supported by those who were actually PRESENT.
The left has NO viable candidates so they would rather DESTROY the Country and, ultimately, take from the haves to fund the have-nots. The left is fiddling as the Country burns, with the fires having been set BY the left.

Did you hear John Brennan calling for more whistleblowers to come forward? That must mean the Dems are working with other leakers and Trump-hating deep-staters. Look for more of this in the days to come.
