I submit for worst movie ever made.

Virtually no redeeming qualities. Budget got cut down to some miniscule amount, and the results included Superman hanging from obviously visible wires, shots of outer space missing stars, normal human beings flying through space without any problems, etc. It's so bad it's depressing.

Saving Silverman is pure greatness. Has to be one of the top-15 or so most quoteable comedies I have ever seen...and quoted...repeatedly...

Sorry, we'll have to agree to disagree, bud.

Now, I have walked out of only three movies in my lifetime (so I suppose they are by default, my bottom three)...

1) Pooty Tang - just not funny on any level
2) An Ideal Husband - boooooring
3) Freddy Got Fingered - I should have known by the title

Pooty Tang was disappointing, considering how riotously funny it was as a skit on the Chris Rock Show.

Watch Pootie Tang with the CAPTIONS ON. Now that is funny.

Mission From Mars was bad. I mean really bad. But i just cannot figure out why. Maybe a film major could put his/her finger on it. Maybe something as subtle as pacing, or music or editing, but Jeez... there were moments that were supposed to be suspensful that just fell flat. like a THUD. Weirdly flat.

Good actors in that movie too.. so it had to be DePalma or the editor or something? What was it?!

The Crow sucked unholy ***, even if Brandon Lee hadn't died making it his career wouldn't have survived...honorable mention for Hudson Hawk and that ******* Andrew Dice Clay detective movie...

The two most acclaimed wost are of course Plan 9 and the yet to be mentioned Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.

Independence Day -for a series of unbelievable coincidents and a a hokey ending. The virus was a good idea, but the bad guys have a billion dollar computer system and they don't even have Norton.

The pack of lies JFK also deserves mention.

I didn't know there were many UT Exes - the real UT, not the Knoxville one, in Nashville. Do you ever go to the Exes get-togethers?

1. Anyone crapping on Three Amigos or The Big Lebowski can go straight to Hell. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.00.

2. The Fifth Element is a decent movie, not great, not horrible. Doesn't belong in the discussion. Same with Thin Red Line. Remember this is a nomination for "Worst Movie Ever Made."

3. Since there are many movies that could compete for the title of Worst Movie Ever Made, I'll throw a few out there:

-The Chase (Starring Charlie Sheen and Christie Swanson)--Truly terrible

-Anaconda
