I submit for worst movie ever made.

I dare anyone to watch this movie:

Where does Rocky Horror fit into this debate, I mean , its got a huge cult following, but as a stand alone movie? Could you watch it alone on your couch at home....... Sober?

Holy ****, the Brother from Another Planet is greatness!

Has Pretty Woman been mentioned yet? now THAT's the suck.

[Anything with Eric Roberts. No, make that every F'n thing with Eric Roberts.]

The Dark Knight?

Most of these films are pretty recent and I would like to offer for your consideration La Chinoise by Jean Luc Godard. In over fifty years of movie going (my dad ran theaters) it was the only film I ever walked out on until Road Hogs.

Heaven's Gate was a failed attempt at greatness and nobody went to see it because of the extremely bad reviews the New York press gave it when it went into general release. It got pulled after a week and they edited an hour out and released the abortion a few months later and it was chopped up and in parts had no continuity.

That being said, it had spectacular photography (shot in Montana) and a beautiful musical score. the acting by Kristofferson, Christopher Walken and Jeff Bridges was solid, even in the truncated form.

The version that the Canadians walked out on was about five and a half hours long. What a shock they didn't like it.

It was a failure but a great attempt and if you get a chance to see it, I would recommend it.

It got released without a lot of fanfare in Europe a bit later and got a good reception.

roundhouse, I assume you're a martial arts fan? Robers was in best of the best 1 and 2, he wasn't in 3 and that was the worst.

Go back to the 70s and watch "The Boy Friend" with Twiggy. Mrs. HHD asked me to take her to that one, and I will never let her forget it - even she agreed it was like throwing money out the window!

The Ladykillers is not a good Coen brothers film standing by itself. But it becomes a lot more interesting if you compare it to the old British film it was a remake of. The original starred Alec Guinness in the role Tom Hanks played and Peter Sellers was also in it--before he became famous. It is a very funny film with loads of British styled wit. Watch it and then watch the Coen brothers film of fifty years later and the Coen bros movie looks a lot better than just standing by itself.

Two parts of the American film are outstanding no matter what you think of the film as a whole. In one scene the dumb guy played by BK Symmons (?) tries artificial respiration on a dying or dead bulldog. Absolutely hilarious.

The other scene involves Symmons bringing his girlfriend, Mountaingirl, to the waffle house where the gang is plotting. The black kid just gets all over how dumb it is to bring your b++ch to the waffle house and things go downhill from there.

Great bits.

My standard reply to these threads is Nothing But Trouble (Akroyd, Chase, Demi Moore), but I've gotta say that Smoking Aces is worthy of inclusion.

Mitchell
Whipped (had Amanda Peet, but no other redeeming qualities)
Caddyshack II
The Avengers
Pitch Black
Some movie Kiss made at an amusement park - I went to mr. sinus at the drafthouse and that was the movie selection that night

I'll second "Nothing but Trouble" - I walked out of the theater. Only other time I did that was "Haunted Honeymoon" - which also sucks big time.

I submit:

The Hottie and the Nottie
starring Paris Hilton

I just saw this one on TV yesterday, and the 7 or 8 minutes of it I was able to withstand were enough to secure a place on this list.

Sorry if it's already been mentioned...
