How did you come up with your screen name?

the street i lived on when i grew up + my first pet's name.

Graduated from Texas w/ a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

UTME

(I was in school at the time I registered though. This website got me through many a boring night in the computer lab.)

at games whenever we need a big play one of my season ticket buddies & i do what is called the "uberhorn". you make a hook'em sign with both hands then drop the index fingers & put them together. it makes one large hook'em sign we call the uberhorn. we then start yelling "UBERHORN" & hold it up until the ball is snapped.

way back in the old days of the 360 site i was "sonny alvarado" when i was being nice & "tonto" when i wanted to taunt aggy & be a jerk on the board.

i have since grown up & matured so i came up with a new name when i joined hornfans.

I was Dr. Rudy on the old 360 board, still am on the EZ board. When Hornfans came along, I was living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, hence I chose a moniker with a little more anonymity as to my name. Today I live in NE Oregon, but have never gotten around to trying to change my alias without losing credit for my previous posting total (as if I have anything to be proud of).

A long time ago, I was fast. Qadry Ismail was playing football at that time and someone said I looked like him running. I WISH! Anyway, the nickname stuck and it is never taken on any board! Since I was not the real Qadry, someone added a "u". I have been stuck with it since then.

started out as kev (witty shorthand for kevin), changed to rock hard nipples after i changed my os cuz i was drunk and that was the first thing that popped into my mind, and after katie asked me to change it because she was getting complaints about it, choose a kinder, gentler, totally non-offensive littlebunnyfoofoo.

I wanted to buy an 11 jersey and put Johnson on the back during Derrick Johnson's freshman year, but Rooster Andrews said no b/c it was some kinda NCAA violation. So I tried to think of other ways to write it, but just gave up on the tshirt idea. I was gonna be D'Wreck11, but you can't use an apostrophe, so D_Wreck11 it is.

At the time I chose my screen name, one of my kids had recently graduated from UT and the other one was just starting.

cartoon character I liked back when I was a kid......

didn't think much of it.....thought about changing it but didn't want to lose the all important "Post Count"

I don't even remember the cartoon now, just that I watched it alot apperently - so it stuck.

My last name is Waldo, so my username should be self-explanatory. The spelling came from the username for a computer game I used to play.

I was at some run of the mill Irish pub here in NYC celebrating St. Patties Day when I noticed a coat of arms on the wall with a gauntlet on the sheild that was orange. I immediately thought it represented the Orange Order of Northern Ireland, which is a Unionist organization named after William of Orange. Whether or not the coat of arms actually represented that, I thought it would be cool if the guantlet showed a Hookem

and then I could start a secret organization bent on taking over the world called the Burnt Orange Order. Needless to say this was strangely the only thing I remember from that night.

I finally registered on Hornfans a few days later w/ this name. I was about to drop it when everybody started calling me BOO and it just stuck.

Rip [nickname]...The nickname started when I finished college. I was in Clear Lake at a bar called "PiggyBank." (I don't know if anyone remembers that place.) And I had made friends with this bartender there, who was writing a screenplay. He had a character named "rip," in the screenplay, and said I was that guy.... The nickname just stayed.

76 (I just like the number, and I used to collect anything with the 76 gas station logo on it)...

We were living in Dresden Germany when I had to register - couldn't work so I took the german word for Housewife. For those who have asked - macht nichts means "It just doesn't matter"

Comes from where I find myself most of the time when riding my bicycle. Other names could have been "grinder" or "anti-spinner".

Oh Maria hands it out
she comes from Guatamala
she helps me get around
she helps when I'm in trouble
when the ice cream hit the ground
The Federales they were a'coming
she had made arrangements with a vendor
the stupid gringo - he got away

Now if I had a $100
and maracas in my hand
I'd shake them for Maria
And pressure her old man
to let me take her back to Texas
In the white pickup truck
where she had done a dozen favors
to get me out of dutch

Now we never spank the children
and the house is pretty small
and I never learned the language
of old Guatamal
but there are frijoles when I'm hungry
and I drink tequila when I'm dry
and the coffee is oh so good
and Maria hands it out...

It was given to me by an official agent of the fedrul gubmint when I joined the witness protection program. Any more and I'll have to kill you.
