How did you come up with your screen name?

As I was leaving the sanatorium, I snuck a look at my chart. There were a lot entries under “Diagnosis” but this was the only one I could remember much less spell.

never finished my degree at the university. i left to take on the big bad world, starting in nyc, without graduating.

i was six hours short of my degree (probably still am), so i'm not a texas ex, i'm an Ex minus 6 hours.

of course, i've since discovered that you didn't have to graduate to be a texas ex. oh well. fuggit.

Describes how I felt the first time I took a class our district offered on the use of Tenet, AmiPro, some gawdawful gradebook program and various other beginning computer stuff waaaaay long ago!

With Tenet you could only have 8 letters in your name and another family member already had our last name which is 8 letters. Took my initial and part of our last name and the fact that I tended to ask frequently in those classes "Now where are we?" since I tend to try to work ahead and then get lost and there you have it! Had it for too many years and just too lazy to think of anything else now.

I also was "Sportsmom" in a couple IRC chats years ago and on the old 360 board, since that is my second job and lostman was taken there.

I tirelessly yelled "Throw the ball to Roy" dozens of times a game during his years here, so i shortened it.
** It's amazing how many people followed suit and started yelling it too!**

some prick at a golf tounament said: "wellllll.... looky here... if it aint the llanoflash"

proceeded to woop his *** and felt obligated to remind him every time i saw him.

plus.. I'm really fast.

Pantone is the name of a standard color specification / matching system that graphic artists use.

Color number 159 is, according to our media guide, the OFFICIAL burnt orange.

Back in the UT days, the Sex Pistols came to Randy's Rodeo in San Antonio, and after that spectacle, a little bar on Guadalupe named Raul's started booking these new startup bands with weird names. Soon after, a live album was released....you guessed it......Live at Raul's.

spidey68 was taken.

just a comic book thing from the younger days + 69 is a really cool number......I was born in 1969.

Mine goes back to Hookem.com, I wanted to reply to something there one day, and like some others here, was in a hurry. It's just my first initial and the first half of my last name.

I was gonna change it, but it was easy to remember, so I just stuck with it. When this place opened I just kept on using it.

Play on my last name, people call me chill because it rhymes with my last name and I am so cool. Had to add the t because chill and utchill were taken at the time.

I wanted to post and all my really cool original handles were taken. I had just been recently stuck in Acworth, GA. so that was it. I wish now I had a cool Username too. People don't respond well to acworthhorn.

A long time ago I was in a Chemistry Lab working on an experiment that went awry. The Lab blew up. When I came to I was in a hospital.

Unfortunately for me I didn't turn into a Superstar like the Hulk. The only after effect from the explosion is that whenever I sweat, I sweat Orange.

At first I was a lurker and one day was compelled to post and I remember seeing Horn 4Life posting in another thread.

I'm from Tennessee and was always a Volunteer, but my wife graduated from Texas. Since I had been attending Texas functions for about 10 years, I decided that I should add Vol to Horn 4 Life since that seemed appropriate.

go figure......to this day I still feel somewhat guilty about stealing half of my name from someone else.

i figured i would post and post and post and post.......

then one day - disappear. well hornfans has become a true family. needless to say, one day, i will leave this earth and poooof be gone and i will truly be a GHOST HORN.
