Horns vs Bears thread

Let me ask you a question, Duck.
Baylor was 2-7 last year.
DO YOU think they magically obtained a massive amount of new talent in one year??
Sounds like a good coach developed his team and is having a really good second year—after a 2-7 first year. Baylor should be thankful they didn’t listen to the moron faction of their fanbase wanting to ditch their coach after (or even during) his first year…

CT missing wide open Worthy badly
Moore- Fumble while in scoring position, dropped touchdown, and dropped pass through hands into an INT while in scoring position...huge part of game
Big drop by Washington there with a chance to drive and tie

Those plays...especially those in the 2nd quarter...altered the course of the game

You could see after Texas went up 21-10 that Baylor's level of intensity went way up and Texas's level went down. It's visibly obvious. That is a general statement. It doesn't mean that no one is running or hitting etc. It means they don't have a mentality that they are going to win their battle, their play, over and over again.

It is what OU, OSU, and now Baylor did. None of these teams are great. They just played much harder to finish the game.

Stupid Stupid mistakes over and over again in the 1st half. Stupid coaching decisions on the 2nd. Well coached teams just don't continue to do the stupid *^*$ this team keeps on doing.

You can't convince me Sark isn't THII.

On a positive note I thought the oline played better for much of this game....not saying much but progress nonetheless

And you’re the one calling our players and coaches things like trash, garbage, and low IQ, etc. With “fans” like you, who needs adversaries…?

They play weak and stupid with lower energy in game deciding moments. No coach or player does anything about it. It's just a fact at this point.

Even Fozzy and Griff are saying the same thing on the Post Game.

Exactly my point.

That supposed ‘great’ offensive mind of Sarkisian isn’t getting it done. He knows the OL isn’t good, so why not put his qb on the move.

He continued to pound it inside on 3rd and 4 or 5. Sark isn’t giving his players an opportunity to be successful. He shows little to no emotion. He’s lost this team.

I’m not even going to start on the defense. They are doing exactly what they’ve been taught. This bend no break crap isn’t getting it done. Dang, I said I wasn’t going to do this.

Pass me the tequila Sheila!!

I am a firm believer that those earlier missed opportunities.. for two programs in the positions they are in...weighed heavily against one and greatly encouraged the other

Well, shutting it down for the season. This team doesn’t know how to win. Nobody, including Bijan, wants to step up and be the guy. Sad to see. Until someone brings an attitude, we will continue to lose. Maybe Arch Manning or something. This team plays scared and timid. The coaching staff hasn’t figured this out. My hope is they figure it out next year. We are going into a second decade of being mediocre.

Our team did not play well the second half. We need to improve—especially during the second half. But they’re not quitters, losers, low IQ individuals, stupid, lazy, other insulting words, etc.

At this point the coaches have to get in the faces of the players and demand execution and intensity when they get whipped. Of course not every player on every play. But there has to be a point where the coaches get in their faces like Stoops used to do and even Saban.

If Sark can't do it then we need to find another guy.

Pat'em on the back then and give them a glass of milk. Wouldn't want them to get their feelings hurt about anything.

We have had three coaches. It cant always be the coach. The loss is on the players. Woke attitude of players, professors and school. No emphasis on winning. The atttitude is not on winning but how will it benefit me or how much money can I make.

Difference is, Aranda is a winner . Sark is "Seven Win Steve". It's that simple

We’ll at least make a bowl game—even in year 1 of the Sark regime.

I'm not so sure. Kansas is the only for sure win.

ISU - loss
Kansas - win
WVU - ???
KSU - ???

At this point I'm hoping Kansas can be a regrouping, but otherwise the last two games are a toss up.

Use any soft fluffy words you want, this team does not play tough and continually makes “not intelligent” plays….if you prefer a more cuddly term.

Players lost this game i.e. dropped balls, bad decisions -punter, QB, poor throws etc.

Sark's play calling could have been better at times. Should have been more wide open.
O-line weak again.
