Horns - Pigs Game Thread

Cant believe we went for it
Why? If he didn't he would have had lots of people in Austin with questions when he got back, and a voicemail on his cell phone.

My only question was the defense on the previous attempt to get them to jump was loaded to the left side with no one in the middle. Of course, a sneak or run would have required one of two people to get a brush (not a block, just get in the way), but that's asking a lot from the right side of our OL.

Cant win with QE

I highly recommend the Specs in West U for replenishing your stock. Their knowledgeable staff assisted me yesterday in selecting some very nice Bordeaux wines.
Thanks for heads up. I like Specs. Picked up some Jack yesterday @Specs in Cypress. It’s goin down good. lol. Is that a good sign or a bad sign?

Of course, I’m thrilled with the win. But it was ugly. There’s no way this offense should sputter like that.

Everyone knows this, but I’ll say it again. QE is an immobile quarterback who struggles to maneuver around the pocket. His short passing is elite, but his midrange and long passes are statistically some of the worst in college football.

We have a kid sitting on the bench who is dynamic, and who is most likely the antithesis to the weaknesses of our starting quarterback.

Can QE take us to the promised land? I have serious doubts. He will have a huge test at College Station.

I would really prefer that we have Arch start the Kentucky game and see how he does. Of course, that won’t happen.

This is why you dont stop recruiting a player you know can help your team. As a reminder he was committed to Florida before Sark flipped him a couple weeks before NSD.

There was always going to be a game the defense had to win and this was it. The offense looked slow and lost at times but didn't make killer mistakes to give the pigs a short field and with the defense playing the way it was, the offense just needed to be good enough and it was. This was a trap game in every sense of the word and like the TCU game last year anything that got us out of town with a win was gonna be ok by me. Still on track for the ultimate jihad game for aggy in two weeks. Rest of today is go Vols, Gators, and Cocks,

Sorry but im not starting someone to "see how he does" this late in the year with so much on the line.

When our schedule was released I called the Kentucky game a trap game. You go with what brought you here and make in game changes if needed.
