Imo, I think Mack and Wilson made Hampton expendable. I still wanted him to be in this class, but the DB haul this year was a plethora of riches for Texas. Two possible day one contributors or two deep guys in Filsaime and Black and three developmental ones in JJR, Mack and Wilson. Hampton would've been a developmental one, imo.

I actually prefer not to over sign like binder boy and charlie did. Just get the players who can play and not stack the bench. With NIL and portal, those bench players are not staying if they have options.

My thoughts are somewhat aggie, except the one and only player to flip that i am happy about is this kid.
Opens up a spot for someone else as I always felt he was and will be a Bama ticking time bomb to portal . Maybe even this spring game.
