General Presidential Campaign: Trump vs Hillary

Bobama the liar

Not only did he directly lie to the American people, but the President of the United States intentionally communicated to his SOS over a known non-secure network.
The security implications are mind boggling.
Was there also a breach of federal law?

And why is Clinton aide Cheryl 'da fif' Mills cleaning up for him? Not her job. She was not even a federal employee at this time.

One problem you aren't mentioning is wikileaks is based on facts of dems own words when the other is trying to cover up those facts.

Is it? That's validated?
No more than any 60 Minutes reporter over the many years who went 'undercover' to get a story he could not otherwise get.

Why do you always pedal in double standards?

Based on your posting history, it's understandable that you believe they are analogous. I'm sure a few stories by 60 minutes over the years have crossed ethical lines. I know Dan Rather rightly took the fall in one such piece.

There is no proportionality to what O'Keefe's Project Veritas has done though. Over and over he's shown himself to be dishonest in his attempts to entrap organizations and individuals. Furthermore, it's been proven in a court of law that he's selectively edited his tapes for maximum reaction from his audience.

I was in the car for an hour listening to local radio.
Several folks called in to report on their early voting efforts.
Some reported no issues, but others reported machine problems
One woman voted straight Republican ticket and it flipped to straight Dem.
Another woman said she voted straight R and Trump did not show up for President

Be careful out there

Is it? That's validated?....

As previously explained, the answer is yes, their wholesale lack of denial is a tacit admission of the truth and validity of the material.

An astute observer would note that primary Clinton Machine tactic is to ignore the message while attacking the messenger. We see this everywhere from TV to this board.

People around the globe are sick of elitist politicians
Brexit, the R primary, other Euro party advances
Now Iceland makes it play

One political strategy is to try and avoid the issue to keep it out of the headlines. That works until the heat is too great. With Trump stealing the headlines with his treatment of women, why make an issue of the wikileaks by trying to deny specific email? As someone who will be voting for Gary Johnson, that sounds to me like a sound political strategy. That doesn't validate the email are accurate though.

Oh, the messenger is a pretty big ******* problem in this instance. For all the patriotism that is thrown around on the right its hypocritical to now suddenly embrace mother Russia's interference in our elections. Oh, don't believe Russia? How 'bout acknowledging foreign interference. After all, Assange has openly stated he has an agenda to take down HRC.

It's hypocritical to scold HRC with one hand for any pay for play scheme with foreign entities then embrace another with the other hand. Both should be equally admonished.

I saw this story and one of those stories is horse poop (don't remember which) because it involved San Antonio and San Antonio does not have paper ballots like the woman claimed she had. Just goes to show a side effect of Trump is people coming out with trumped up "voter fraud" stories.

Is it? That's validated?

They validated it by not denying it. Instead they tried to redirect that it's Russia's fault. Like Russia made them make those emails.

SH, sometimes it's best to try not to defend the indefensible. If you try every time then you lose your credibility.

Would this even be an issue if HRC just friggin respected our laws in regards to classified information? This is like blaming the match for starting the fire.

No, these callers voted in Harris and Ft Bend Counties
They sounded legit to me, but who knows

^ I know this story is bogus because Bexar County has electronic ballots. You story sounds similar. I think people are spreading bogus rumors.

Well, what's done is done. I early voted today. I have noticed that the early voting locations have been busier than past elections, even during work hours. I have never waited at the Shriner's Hall until today, and I've voted in presidential elections as well as local elections there for over a decade now. Each time I've passed (twice a day for the last 2 days) by Randall's on 183 and Braker the line is out the door.

Since the presidential contest is at top of the page, they might have accidentally double clicked on straight ticket, then the extra click carried on to the next page where it selected Clinton/Kaine (verify choices page).

I am at a hotel in MN for work. I clicked on the TV and it went to CNN by default (b/c it was on ESPN when I turned it off). I just let it run to make noise in the background as I am going thru emails. They have talked non-stop, negatively, about Trump for over 20 minutes. At about 25 minutes, they ran a video of a Clinton rally and her speech, and then went right back to negative on Trump. Now there is a woman complaining that no men in the GOP will stand up and defend women against Trump. Man, they really are the Clinton News Network.

I didn't hear about the Spanish language ballots being straight Dem here in San Antonio, but a lady filed a formal complaint stating that she voted for Trump and it was switched to Hillary by the time she reviewed her ballot at the end of the process. Election Commission will "look into it". Uh huh.

Attorney in my building tried to vote Straight Dem and, at the end, the machine showed no selection as having been made for the presidential race. So problems are NOT limited to one party...

And yes, I DID duly chastise him for being the reason we get so many idiots for judge...also reminded him that he missed his opportunity to have voted for Mark Bennett. He had not thought about that race at the time of his decision even though Mark is a friend of the firm...

A friend of mine in SA said his republican votes were all switched to democrat and when he tried to do something about it 2 people ran out the door and were gone. He's not the type to make something up like this.

They've sidestepped the wikileaks controversy only saying "we don't know if they have been tampered with or not". Russia is clearly a player here unless you are willing to call multiple government agencies and private companies all "liars". Ignoring Russia's involvement is self serving to those that have an agenda against HRC.

Most of the email are likely 100% accurate but I'm not willing to assume they haven't been tampered with, especially with the agendas of Russia and Assange.

As for their defense or lack thereof a tacit admission of accuracy? A vociferous defense makes the wikileaks email a central issue. It removes Trump's self-made noose from his neck by taking airtime from Trump's misdeeds. Why would any campaign want to do that?

One interesting side effect of this election is a huge spike in illegal immigration. Supposedly the illegals have heard that if Hillary wins, she'll amnesty them all in and if Trump wins, a giant wall will magically appear and they won't be able to get in.

They say a thousand a day are pouring through McAllen, Texas. Our friends, the Mexican government, are doing all they can to make sure the OTMs get up to the Texas border.

It's only a matter of time until the battleground states become blue states and the red states become battleground states.
