General Presidential Campaign: Trump vs Hillary

Well, if the poster is Maddow, her only redeeming quality would be that she is possibly a Longhorn fan. Amazing she is still on the air.

Appears to be the moment Comey realizes Hillary's IT guy - Paul Combetta -- lied even after he got immunity
Which, if true, violates the deal

Do some of you belong to Correct The Record?
Seems like it

"Correct the Record is a Hillary-campaign super-pac that is dedicated to “fighting the lies” on the Internet. What it is, is a battalion of paid trolls whose job it is to disrupt, demoralize, and defame any Trump supporters and message boards. They communicate using a secure messaging software called “slack” pictured above.

We were able to get some monitoring software onto a junior analyst’s laptop to take a look inside the slack-channel where they were doing work. What we found was startling. In the fall-out from last night’s debate, they are beginning a new campaign of targeted harassment (or worse) against the “ring leaders” of the decentralized online Trump movement......."

That's funny. I've often thought you may be a paid Trump supporter in the mold of the Russian internet propagandists.

Sadly, I'm not HRC supporter but feel the candidates should be judged on the facts not misinformation or internet memes. In fact most of the "liberals" on this board would likely concur with that. Leave the propaganda for 4Chan and Brietbart.

One thing I have noticed about Joe Fan, he steps up and admits when he has posted information that is not accurate
make that 2 things
JF is honest about whom he supports to be the next POTUS.
That is unlike many posters on here and in this thread. If it is pointed out with facts that one is wrong some posters disappear from a thread to never man/woman up and admit an error .
Or some posters' bias toward Hillary is plain to read but some for whatever reason do not like to admit they will be voting for someone who put their interests and financial gain ahead of our country's security, then lied about it.
If someone is actually voting for someone based on FACTS how could anyone vote for Hillary?

THIS is PROOF that great minds think alike and at nearly the same time.

Of course this probably occurred to every thinking person who watched the vid
but Hey
I am sticking with how brilliant we both are.

My uncle, who's a minister posted this, and to be honest, I hadn't fully thought about this. Whether Trump's religious conversion is sincere is between him and God, but he doesn't seem to show the signs of a guy whose life has been changed by a religious conversion.

AN OPEN LETTER TO DONALD TRUMP. I am an evangelical pastor on the West Coast who has been praying for your candidacy and who will vote for you in November. However, I am quite convinced that you will lose because of how you think and how you act.

It was widely reported last June by Dr James Dobson and other evangelical ministers that you had a born-again experience earlier this year. Jesus tells us in the Gospel of John that, when we are "born again", we exit the Old World and enter into the Kingdom of God, which includes new ways of thinking and acting. "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind," the apostle Paul tells us. The ways of thinking and acting that you have promoted in books like The Art of the Deal and Think Big . . . ideas and actions that seemed to work well in your Old World . . . just don't work now that you are a citizen in the New Kingdom.

You need a new playbook. That playbook is the Bible, which will contain ideas that are counterintuitive to some of the ideas found in your books. For example, on page 197 in Think Big, you advise "Always make a list of people who hurt you. Then sit back and wait for the appropriate time to get revenge." But Jesus taught his followers, "you have heard it said that you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you (Mt 5.43-44)." Old playbook versus new playbook.

Here's another example. In your book Think Big, you have a whole chapter entitled, I Love You, Sign This, which proposes that successful people get a pre-nuptial agreement with their future spouse prior to marriage. You say you benefited from having a prenup with former wives Ivana and Marla because you were able to retain wealth after your divorces with both. But the new playbook says, "husbands love your wives as Christ loves the church and gave himself for her." In the old testament, God says that he hates "putting away" of "the wife of your youth" with a "bill of Bill of divorcement". This pre-nuptial/bill of divorcement scheme reflects a low view of women, allowing men to put off "the wife of your youth" in later years so you can pursue a younger "trophy wife". This diminished view of women resulted in serial marriages, broken families, and a host of social woes. I believe female voters have picked up on this attitude toward women.

Donald, I do not expect you as a newbie Christian to have a handle on the ideas and behaviors of the Kingdom Playbook. What you need is a crash-course on Bible 101. My recommendation, both pre-election and post election, is for you to seek out accountability partners that you could meet and pray with at least once a month . . . guys like Ben Carson, Dr Jerry Falwell Jr, Mike Huckabee, and others. Proverbs 18.1 says, "A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; he rages against all wise judgment." Resist the temptation to reject your accountability partners' wise counsel, because "in the multitude of counselors there is safety."

Some other random New Playbook suggestions:

1. "God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble." Eliminate the "I am the greatest" comments from your public persona. Psalm 37 declares "blessed are the MEEK, for they shall inherit the earth."

2. "He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit better the who takes a city." Be slow to react against other's comments which are designed to make you angry. "Whoever has no rule over his own spirit is like a city broken down, without walls." it's so un-presidential to be thin-skinned.

3. "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you again." Avoid the temptation to "dish the dirt" against an adversary, especially if your hands are not exactly clean in that particular area. Americans hate hypocrisy. By the same token, Americans are compassionate and forgiving. Don't hesitate to make public statements, asking for prayer and wisdom, and forgiveness for your past shortcomings toward others.

Donald, I doubt that you will ever see this letter, and, even if you do, that you will be able to respond to this advice in a timely manner to help your candidacy. Nonetheless, I will vote for you, because your values are more in line with the Kingdom values found in the Bible than your opponent's . . . like protecting the unborn from murderers, protecting our nation against globalism (The idea of Nations is God's idea . . . see Acts 17.26) and radical Islamic globalism, supporting our nation's "sword bearers" (police, military, etc . . . see Romans Chapter 13) . . . Just to name a few.

I close with this exhortation from 2 Peter 3.18: "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen."

Deplorably yours,
Rev. Mr. Deez's Uncle (obviously added by me).

Now we know Assange's motivation for harassing Hillary so much
She wanted/wants to kill him

If this wasn't Hillary talking, the media would be all over this like stink on you know what. Seems very similar to Romney's "47-percenter" comments.

CLINTON: It is important to recognize what’s going on in this election. Everybody who’s ever been in an election that I’m aware of is quite bewildered because there is a strain of, on the one hand, the kind of populist, nationalist, xenophobic, discriminatory kind of approach that we hear too much of from the Republican candidates. And on the other side, there’s just a deep desire to believe that we can have free college, free healthcare, that what we’ve done hasn’t gone far enough, and that we just need to, you know, go as far as, you know, Scandinavia, whatever that means, and half the people don’t know what that means, but it’s something that they deeply feel. So as a friend of mine said the other day, I am occupying from the center-left to the center-right. And I don’t have much company there. Because it is difficult when you’re running to be president, and you understand how hard the job is — I don’t want to overpromise. I don’t want to tell people things that I know we cannot do.

I actually think that is the most cogent, well thought-out answer HRC has given EVER. I just know she does not mean any of it. HRC is occupying the center-right? Shyeah, and monkeys might fly out of my butt.

The idea that the Clintons have been screwing everyone, forever, both literally and figuratively has taken another turn

To be fair, I've always heard that Hubbell impregnated Hillary by artificial insemination, not sex. As for Bill, I have every confidence that he has children all over Arkansas, but somebody would have to sue him for paternity.
