For Real ....Herman “IS” Done!!!

Y'all can keep wasting your breath about Herman's performance on the field. He sealed his fate in August. He could stick around Austin for another five years, win two NCs, and the athletic department would still lose money.

Tom Herman was toxic, a cancer that MD Anderson could not cure. Whomever the replacement is will have enough common sense not to make similar mistakes.
 
A play here or there and Texas is 3-6 this year after the regular season - the Tech game was a miracle, OSU had it first and goal at the 10 in OT before a holding call moved them way back, and the W VA game had Sterns holding the WR in the end zone for what should have been a PI call.

But heads / tails even out, so those games were offset by could have been wins at TCU, OU, and ISU.

I'd guess Herman sits out a year to rest up, then gets hired at some mid conference team. Not a top team, not a bottom feeder. A W VA, KSU, Baylor, Ole Miss, NC State style school, not a Kansas or Vandy or Rutgers. He may do well there - that level, with middle of the pack expectations where a bowl game and win is a good season, would be a good fit for him.

If that happens, and say he wins 10 games at that school, that does not mean he should have been kept. Anymore than a 5 year later M Brown doing well at NC means he should still be coaching here.

I don't know. S Florida hired C Strong. S Carolina hired Muscamp.

Being a head coach is like being royalty, or a CEO. Once you're in the club, it takes more than 1 firing to be soured upon.
 
When you send numbnutts like the Spaceman does to cover the program, doubtful you' ever get any inside info.

When you send stupid ******** like Chip Brown to press conferences, it's a surprise you are allowed on the phone much less in the building. Has there ever been anyone so classless allowed around our program.

Most people — OK, some people — learn from their mistakes. But I tend to agree. This guy is so full of himself that he probably never will.

I have heard people say he's "full of himself"....I don't think that's his problem...I don't think he has any common sense.....like the double birds....(what adult man does that....cameras rolling or NOT!!!!??)
