For Real ....Herman “IS” Done!!!

ps -- did you guys know Jacksonville is the largest city in the FLA? I would have guessed Miami or Tampa or maybe even Orlando before I guessed Jville.
Based on geography or population? I heard the former, not the latter.

As I understand it, Jacksonville is both the city and the county government, so it would be as if Houston was all of Harris county, hence the "biggest city in Florida" trivia question.

The only right guy is Meyer. People who've never been in the same room with him insist he's not done coaching. It's kind of amusing.

I don't think he's done coaching, but if he was coming here he wouldn't have waited till after signing day and you would think would want to try to keep Sam as well.

There aren't enough seniors or grad transfers on the roster to even worry about who the remaining ones might be.

Kerstetter - he was already borderline as a C/OG for any NFL roster, and with the injury it wouldn't surprise me if he wanted another year for his resume.

Daniel Young - he's not going to get any PT so it'd be kind of a "meh" move if he did come back.

Black - didn't play well down the stretch, and with all of the younger receivers we have, not sure if it makes much sense. Maybe with Eagles leaving he'll hope to vie for more attempts?

If TH is hoping that his comment is directed at Sam and forcing his hand, then it's kind of sorry to tell that at a press conference.

Finebum on radio responding to the Thamel/Yahoo article (see above) --

I know last year there were conversations with the Cowboys and I think Urban, he’s itching to get back and there simply wasn’t anything in college that attracted him once Texas — he turned them down or they decided to wait,” Finebaum said on WJOX, per Saturday Tradition. “I don’t think Urban Meyer is a good fit for the NFL. I just think his approach is much better suited for college football. Urban Meyer is a very emotional coach. His temperament is uneven and I think the pro game would just grind him down because it never ends. And I’m not saying college football has an offseason, it doesn’t. But you do go from one thing to another where the NFL just never stops. And I also don’t know how Urban Meyer could get along with an owner. …And that’s one of the toughest parts of the job.”

Steve Sarkisian has won the Broyles Award, which is given to the nation’s top assistant coach

Why didnt Auburn pursue this guy?
