For Real ....Herman “IS” Done!!!

From someone in Dallas at a HS game today:

“Sitting at a Dragon football game behind Quinn Ewers folks. He was telling me that Urban has a standing offer at UT. He also said his son decommitted for several reason. Uncertainty in the longevity of the coaching staff was part of it, but he said there was “stuff” going on at UT that he couldn’t discuss that weighed heavily on bond decision. We had the UT game on our phones. Might be Herman’s Swan song.”

SABRE and I can coach the remaining two with just as much "LUCK"....the being on the 1/2 yard line and not having SAM sneak it in....really? they used every blank stare to the sideline waiting for TOM to come up with a loss on the next play....to me, that says everything about the TOM HERMAN ERA....

I give it two birds in the air (because I didn't know y'all had the cameras going).....

The University is lucky I'm not one of the BMDs, because I would pull all my support from athletics after seeing these athletes ( soccer, volleyball, football, etc ) . I do have great respect for Sam Ehlinger and the handful of young men who stayed and stood for the Eyes after the game today. Most all of the players who put those uniforms on are NOT LONGHORNS. They are pretenders. For the first time in 64 years I will be cheering for any team that lines up against these pretenders. I want the TEXAS LONGHORNS back with a real coach who supports THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS !!!!!!!!!!.

Urban is the only option at this point and I honestly the announcement of Herman being fired should be made later than Sunday. At least we have other sports to look forward too because football is just stressful for absolutely no reason
 
Tom Herman isn't/wasn't BIG XII ready. He needs to go either way. They didn't put up with this ineptitude from Charlie Strong and canned him after 3 years if memory serves me.

Agree. I expect an announcement no later than Monday, but perhaps tomorrow.
 
I watched parts of the game, but saw the obviously bad in game coaching decisions and horrid clock management at the end. Anyone thinking TH deserves to stay with his horrible coaching on field and even worse actions off the field needs a lobotomy.

Exactly, If only we would run a standard qb sneak and utilize a TE more, would have won the game today and probably most of the other games the past 4 years. Our style of play in critical situations invites these types of losses. These are the easiest changes to make and it hasn't been addressed most of the last 10 years.
 
If no decision made by Monday then we know the admin no longer wants to be a football school and we can all move on with other activities on our fall Saturdays.
