Just made a quick trip to the grocery store here in Arlington. Roads are dry, no indication of ice or water that could freeze overnight. Still cold! I'm ready for Spring.

No; the sun is out and the roads are clear (mostly anyway).

I live 10 miles north of Grapevine on a shady residential street...streets are dry and the sun is out. Cold, but no moisture.

Viper and Crockett are correct - roads are dry, driving pretty simple. Warming up above freezing (but still cold - wear a warm jacket!).

We called Sabre and passed the phone around - he canceled due to death of a friend on Thurs.

Mb227 gets the award for traveling the longest distance and Crockett for traveling shortest distance.

We'll gather Sat. April 23rd at Scholtz's Bier Garten a few hours before the Spring game for anyone that can make it.... those that are interested - we'll sit together at the game.

Can confirm about Sabre call...though I couldn't hear a damn thing he was saying because the noise level was starting to ramp up in there by the time the phone got to me...

Am guessing that there are now confirmations that, yes, I AM pretty much the same in person as on here. No filter, plenty of acerbic witticisms...and ANYTHING is fair game to be shredded.

Unrelated...I am back in Houston and have been for a few hours now. Caught some heavy rain around Madisonville that followed me to around Conroe and then just some light road mist. No ice though...
