Our Pastor speaks of some joint in Fairfield that is his weekly stop on his way back to DFW. Talks about it like it's an out of body experience or something. Must be damn good

Sam's has been around for over 40 years. There is a menu, but everyone goes for the all you can eat buffet. It is a feedbag. You are not limited to one entre' or one dessert. All veggies are grown locally and fresh - no canned and no frozen. The day Brackens was in there, I got a dinner plate of watermelon, one for brisket & chicken fried steak with veggies, then chocolate pie, coconut pie, and banana pudding. All pies are homemade and come with about 3-4" of calf slobber. Homemade bread is a must.

The best deal in Texas is their breakfast buffet which is closed at 1030. All you can eat for $7.95. I get a plate just for bacon.

Sundays after church is a nightmare until about 130

I promise to be first there to secure a good & large table for our group... I will seat myself at the head of table to be sure to see and greet all who join our esteemed group for the evening.

Seating is first come first served. So get there early to get the best seat!
