Coronavirus

There you go. Dismiss that this could be a superspreader event. Well done. Very on-brand.

If those weren't Americans that is insane

They were Americans who caught the virus in China. They flew them back here to infect, er I mean treat, over here. See page 1 of this very thread for a discussion and picture of the plane bringing them in.

The CDC and the Minnesota DPH both point to 2020 being a superspreader event. The State of South Dakota disagrees....shocker. A similar comparison might be how 48 other states and Texas agree that claiming that being a Sooner as a positive is poor application of logic, yet, some in this state could disagree. More dumbfounding would by the high % of natives who would disagree as well.

Clean
I forgot about that.
I pray your hospital doesn't make anymore mistakes. To have to be concerned they would put COVID patient near people with no immune system is unconscionable.

I can't find COVID-19 vaccination guidelines for the Sturgis event. Maybe you could help me there.

Also, an estimated 260,000 cases stemmed from last year. So yeah, no biggie.

Of course, 90% vaccinated at that concert? How do they know? But of course the MAGA hat wearing redncek hillbilly slack-jawed buffoons at Sturgis were not.

BS, of course. I know people who, from their FB posts, are vaccinated and also went to Sturgis.

Such a stupid thing to say that an "estimated" 90% were vaccinated. ********.

Go on and keep falling in line with the gubment. I don't care.

Oh, and don't drive your car or do anything else that could potentially cause harm to anyone, or else you are just a hypocrite.

Stop telling anyone what the heck to do on getting drugs in their bodies.

"The state of South Dakota has attributed 124 cases in the state to the rally. The Associated Press reported that at least 290 people in 12 states who attended the rally have also tested positive"

"A recent study found the rally could have resulted in 260,000 cases. But the study has been criticized and faced some questions about its conclusions and methodology and it is not yet peer-reviewed."

That "estimation" you have was all done by modeling. Nothing more.

Fact check: Sturgis Rally's COVID-19 cases misstated by online post

I think the vaccine lovers around here are mindless when it comes to this. Just will, for some reason, go right along. It's stunning that they think the world will end if people don't get vaccinated against this stupid virus.

My brother has a friend in the ICU due to covid. Yeah, right. He's early 50s. But, when I ask questions, it turns out he smoked for about 20 years and had major problems with drugs.

Now, do I have to be a doctor or scientist to realize that **** screwed up his body's ability to fight off covid? Nope.

Anything left of center are not superspreader events, everything right of center is. Get with the program!

:fiestanana:
I"m not saying lollaloplooza wasn't a superspreader event. I'm saying they had protocols and their clientele are the kind that would lkely be 90% vaccinated so that number that the concert organizers provided seems reasonable.

Still waiting for someone to post the Sturgis vaccination guidelines. Thanks in advance.

hic, you're easily triggered these days. Maybe switch to decaf?

Stupid comments and telling people what the hell to do triggers me. Damn right. Like suggesting to me what coffee to drink.

How about you stop telling people what to do or what you think they ought to do?

Hell, you're on here so much, Bubba, maybe that's why your ICU is mismanaged. Maybe you should spend more time doing your job.

See? Isn't that cool when someone tells you what the F you ought to be doing?

What difference does it make? By this point it's well documented that the vaccinated can and do spread the virus. So they all spread it to each other with "mild cases" but then go out into the world and spread it to millions. Sounds to me like they were all heartless and selfish a-holes trying to kill the unvaccinated. Gasp, this sounds like liberal logic I just used.

That's the same with ACL this year in Austin. To attend you will either have to prove vaccination status OR provide a negative result within 72 hours of attending. But vaccinated will spread the virus to the unvaccinated there. WTF?

Cool. However, you come on here looking to pin every ******* super spreader event on Trump supporters. It grows tiresome especially when we see what's happening at the border in regards to Covid. This administration has dumped illegals everywhere throughout the south and then you have the gall to attack us for having Covid problems. Let me remind you that the original hot spot in America was New York that spread to the rest of us. Cuomo and his terrible response has a lot do with this.
