Coronavirus

A longtime friend of mine's aunt died of natural causes which was of course labelled a Covid-19 death. He ain't happy about it because SHE NEVER HAD IT.

I have heard a hospital admins claim the covid19 over-coding is coming from the CDC
But, in this example, it was at the county level

Holy **** did he actually say right at the end that Covid could have caused the guy to crash the motorcycle?
:whiteflag:

I think he said something like," I guess you could argue that ...."

The better question is how much of this is going on across the country? The guy makes the point that one case is statistically insignificant. But what if there are hundreds of similar cases around the US?

Only a freaking moron with an agenda could argue that. Probably going on rampantly.

San Antonio's Lefty Mayor and his buddy, the Bexar County Judge, report anybody who sneezes as having COVID. That's only a slight exaggeration. The state has rejected almost 4,000 of SA's reported Covid cases because they were only "presumed positive". The people were never tested!

The Mayor said SA won't send presumed positives to the state anymore, but they will continue to count them in SA's statistics! If they had their way, nobody could leave their house. They've got the authorities handing out fines to struggling businesses without the proper signage out front. It's a mess.

A couple interesting things about Sveden

1. Daily deaths peaked in April, while the number of daily infections did not peak until June, and
2. The virus is clearly dissipating, while they made no dramatic changes in their daily lives.

The US is at June 19 in terms of cases on the graph above.

mchammer, no one really knows. The numbers being reported by states and CDC are worthless. Listen to minutes 15-60 of this video detailing the COVID case definition and counting policy change.

May 18, 2020 Commissioners Court

This is the smoking gun folks. I knew policy changed and went into effect in early June, specifically June 9 but hadn't seen firsthand information.

This is it. Texas Epidemiology rep gives all the data. I credit the Collin County Court with understanding what was going to happen with reporting. This is from May 18.

We've all been lied to folks. We are still being lied to but the link is the antidote or the red pill or whatever other metaphor. This doesn't mean cases aren't going up. It means we HAVE been overcounting since June and we have NO clue what the actually epidemic trend has been.

One of the people comments about how in until the policy change the counties were reporting the data themselves. Hospitals were reporting to county offices. The trend was down and very low. But the state took all that away. The state now reports for everyone. County data is still available but the Texas DSHS controls everything. Find the leader of the TDSHS and you will find a villian most likely. Would love to see who that is and what his/her other affiliations are.

And let us not over look the testing of Jimmie Johnson that kept him from making all left turns, all the time a few weekends back. Tests positive with NO symptoms and then just days later, has two tests within a few days of each other that came back negative.
.

Someone tweet that her parents went to get tested and checked in and waited for two hours. They got tired of waiting and left without getting tested. Several days later they got a notice in the mail that they both tested positive. :smh:

I did see the actual tweet going around, but I tried to verify it and there’s nothing about it. Makes me think it’s real because normally fake news would jump on something that they could actually dismiss as fake. When it’s true they are silent.

Reporters need to be docked pay if they misreport COVID news and be fired if they do it 3 times.

Peoples' livelihood is being put in jeopardy over things like this. It also freaks moms out so they demand schools stay closed, further damaging students lives.

At my wife's district, it's almost exclusively teachers who are demanding schools stay closed. The parents pretty much all want them to open on schedule.
