Featuring an enchanting recipe for “Savoury Spam Scones”.
Not judging here. Remember this is why God made chocolate and vanilla.

How is it that Trump is actually WAY more reasonable than all the super smart people responding to his tweets and asking him questions at press conferences?

He also has a better memory of what was said weeks ago.

For some reason, my Dad loved him some Spam. Sometimes he'd fry it in a pan. (Sounds like a State Fair food item; Chicken Fried Spam).

My dad used to make fried Spam (btw, it's not breaded, so it's not "chicken fried") and I made it for my kids too. I love that stuff. That and Wolf Brand Chili over scrambled eggs is "deer camp food" at our house.

Hopefully our institution does as well. The abuse and fraud associated with these distributions will be news for years to come.

The emotional responses to a simple statement of fact is pure TDS.

Damn, I kind of agree with Jr. On this and on pardoning Joe Exotic. What in the hell is this world coming to?

That said, the PPE availability is simply sad. Hopefully, we will make this supply chain American-made only for future supply availability. I think my outpatient center has less PPE than we had the first week of Feb when we realized we might have a problem in the future.

Elizabeth Warren's brother and Vietnam veteran dies of Coronavirus. Link. Of course, he was 86 years old.

And this might be in poor taste, but I wonder if he lied in his military paperwork and claimed to be Native American. I'll bet he didn't.

As I stated before, not a clinical study, but I have personal knowledge of an elderly Covid patient who was given the drug as a last resort who is now home.

Must be a Texas thang! I haven't had Spam in a long time, but I still cook up chili and eggs from time to time.

And I did lay in a few cans of Spam when I was stocking up for the quarantine.

Dude enlisted at 19, flew 288 missions in Vietnam (B-47 and B-52s), became squadron commander, retired as a lieutenant colonel in 1973.

THAT is what I call a DUH study.

Then why take a boat out to arrest paddle boarders in the Pacific Ocean?

More from the same study --

"high levels of noise do seem to be a common feature of [Wuhan superspreader events], as such environments force conversationalists to speak at extremely close range. (Related factors may be at play in old-age homes...)

"[COVID-19 superspreader events happen w]herever and whenever people are up in each other’s faces, laughing, shouting, cheering, sobbing, singing, greeting, and praying."

"It’s similarly notable that airplanes don’t seem to be common sites for known SSEs ..."

The first reasonable estimate of the coronavirus death rate is out.

New York State Governor Cuomo said that preliminary findings from an antibody study conducted on 3,000 people at grocery stores across New York State found a 13.9% had coronavirus antibodies, suggesting a 13.9% actual infection rate statewide (21.2% in New York City), which translates to an estimate of about 2,700,000 actual cases in New York State (10 times more than the about 270,000 cases that have been detected and reported officially). Governor Cuomo acknowledged that the official count reported by New York State (which still is not including probable deaths as recommended by the new CDC guidelines) of about 15,500 deaths is "not accurate" as it doesn't account for stay at home deaths. Based on Worldometer's count (which includes probable deaths reported by New York City) of about 21,000 deaths and the 2,700,000 case estimate from the new antibody study, the actual case fatality rate in New York State could be at around 0.78% [source]

Gavin Newsom is commuting the sentences of murderers and releasing them

Wow, child killers in there too. I'm sure they'll be able to contribute to society.

Reminds me of when Texas paroled a bunch of murderers, including Kenneth McDuff, back in 1989. McDuff was a serial killer who was convicted of a triple murder, but had killed others too. He went on to kill another 6 or 7 women after his release before he was stopped.

Good luck with that California.
