Anybody see this (and I apologize if it's already been posted):
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvss/...wJUfOlVQRJdyoLgi9Gh_3VAsDhVZ6dlBoAyXhhCtieLF4
It discusses coding concerning cause of death and guidelines on attribution to Covid-19. Seems like there's a lot of wiggle room...
Here are some comments from my Facebook page:
"There have been reports to attributing cause of deaths to covid 19 that were not really so....there was just a positive hit but should not have been labeled as such. However when you think in the end hospitals will receive funds based on the coding in the death...I would make darn sure my #s were up because hospitals are in the red and are cutting hours. Someone may wonder how can that be? When operating rooms are shut down 3 to 4 weeks before an influx of patients based on faulty predictions that were merely guesses you had people waiting around with no patients and no income generated from those procedures. Only emergency and transplants etc have been performed ....
And when patients arrive do not have insurance coverage which in the climate now will certainly increase...... and now insurance premiums will rise."
"Here in Gillespie County, with the exception of essential businesses staying open, retail is shut down. We still travel out and about around the county. There is no mandate for masks or shelter in place. Life has been SOMEWHAT normal. We’ve only had 1 case that has since recovered. Places like Laredo, SA, Austin are all examples of the most stringent regulations but their cases keep climbing."
