Bo Davis comes to mind.I don't think I have ever seen a coach take a job who didn't say he wasn't interested, interviewing, etc. ahead of time.
Last week he states hes not going anywhere.

I don’t like anything about that terminology so I’m having it removed from our language.Rare to see odds/chances terminology used correctly: odds dropped = chances improved or increased.
Stallings, the Bear?Recall Bama wasn’t that good before Saban.
Stallings, the Bear?
Probably should have said "immediately before Saban".Stallings, the Bear?
I would have thought that was easily inferred...Probably should have said "immediately before Saban".
Me too, but at least one guy had to take it literally.I would have thought that was easily inferred...
Lanning is going to be the bama hire, IMO.I'm not sold that Lanning is out of the picture. I am sure neither party wants to pay his buyout. With all Phil Knight's money and goofy-*** uniforms, that team is built in California, where Oregon games will have limited exposure with the demise of the PAC. Can Lanning keep recruiting at that high level after moving to the Big???
Agreed.Lanning is going to be the bama hire, IMO.
The Florida Legislature would sue Alabama.Lanning is staying at Oregon
Sark is staying on the 40
Kiffin is staying at Ole Miss
This is a decision between:
Doboer (Wash)
Norvell (FSU) - Norvell would be scary AF at Bama!
Current OC at Bama (forgot his name)
Oregon, Washington, and ou are not prepared to compete for Championships in their new conferences. The Washington coach should think really hard about the Alabama job.I'm not sold that Lanning is out of the picture. I am sure neither party wants to pay his buyout. I think DeBoer is an excellent coach, but alsoOregon, Washington, and ou are not prepared to compete for Championships in their new conferences. The Washington coach should think really hard about the Alabama job.
