The UCLA /CU game was pretty much a cluster for CU.
I feel confidant that the O line literally “group mutinied” on Sheedur and his Dad. They never tried and the kid got a beating that was almost biblical in nature. It was a Line -lash, as they couldn’t possibly be that bad.
There were more Lookout blocks than I’ve ever witnessed but without the Lockout part it seemed.

It's been an experiment. To see if you can apply to college football, what has recently been done in college basketball and baseball: portal in almost a whole new starting lineup of stars and succeed.

It's worked some in basketball - There are only 5 starting players. Plus, Chemistry can develop fairly rapidly.

It's worked in baseball - Bring in some stud pitchers and a handful of good batters and you're Regional bound or better. This was aTm in 2022.

Football is a different animal - you can really revamp and upgrade your whole team at the skills positions. But with the linemen, especially the OL, it's a different story. It takes chemistry, time, teamwork, good position coaching, and good S&C training. It doesn't happen overnight. You've still got to build an Offensive Line. I don't think there are any shortcuts.

That being said, through the Portal, overnight you can be a mediocre team with very good skills position players, but lousy in the trenches. Deon hasn't done a bad job--it's just a lot harder to build a crap team above break-even or so in one year through the portal. Building the lines will take time.

Sabre,
That Aggie line looked like the -Five Pillars of Granite compared to this Line.
Sanders really blew it after the game when he said he needed new lineman in the presser.
That crazy thing was these were the lineman that he brought and said were good enough to replace the other lineman that he kicked off after the spring game. Wouldn’t be surprised if they just transfer tomorrow.
This is a dumpster fire that would warm Iceland. Where can I get a parlay that they don’t see a win the rest of the year?

Sanders wants players reimbursed after robbery

>>Our kids got robbed during the game last week. I think that's a travesty," Sanders told reporters during a news conference in Boulder, Colorado. "I would expect the NCAA to do something about that.

"This is the Rose Bowl. They said the granddaddy of 'em all, right? I'm sure granddaddy had some money. Grandpa should have some money to give these kids."<<
__________

Maybe if his son didn't flash jewelry during and after games, the "robbery " never would have taken place. Dumbasses

No insurance? That's what happens when kids get "stuff"

The Sanders experience is a disaster -didn’t make it to a bowl.. Was down 42-7 at half to Wazzu last night.
No way the team he fired after the spring game looks this bad.

Its way too early to call Sanders' 1st year at CU "a disaster". The over/under on win total b4 the season started was 3. They have already exceeded that.

Colorado’s one win in 2022 was an aberration. The previous 5 years they won 4,4,5,5 & 5. Given all the hype, schtick, and transfers, 4-7 this year is poor, particularly given the start.

Northwestern was 1-11 and they are bowl bound. Didn’t we play Colorado 3 years ago in the Alamo bowl?

I blame the hype on idoits in the media (and partially on TCU), who apparently can't do any thinking on their own, but instead jump on a storyline and blow it completely out of proportion via their echo chamber.

Regarding transfers and shtick, well, those are all on Coach Prime.
